Ugnaughts are one of the neutral NPCs in Dark Forces II, where they are seen working on the fuel station outside Barons Hed on Sulon. They look different there though: they wear yellow costumes and have dark skin. In all cases ugnaughts are absolutely harmless and walk around the area, sometimes getting into the fights between the Imperials and [[Kyle Katarn]]. They return in [[Mysteries of the Sith]], where they are some of the guests at Ka'Pa the Hutt's Palace.

Ugnaughts also return in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (as seen in the cutscenes on Bespin), as well as Star Wars: The Old Republic, where the Player can find them working in the lower parts of [[Coruscant]].

Ugnaughts are one of the smaller models in JO and JA, in latter case they only appear in MP. In one of their hands they can carry a technical tool - which is actually part of the model and can't be given to other characters in game. Even though this NPC is neutral, Kyle has to use Force powers to persuade one Ugnaught in Bespin to switch off the incinerator room in order to get to the next level. It is possible to kill Ugnaughts in JO without any Dark Side consequences.
