Reagan, or "therfiles", is currently a staff member for JKHub. He has skill with various types of modding, but specializes in ICARUS scripting. He is also currently a part of Jumansoft, working for Jedi Betrayal, and also on the Harry Potter Mod.

Modding Abilities

• ICARUS scripting. Reagan enjoys creating single player mods with fully scripted cutscenes. He also likes using ICARUS in unique, game-play altering ways.
• UI scripting. He is able to design and create new menus for the game. Reagan took advantage of this skill in order to complete several "secret Santa" mods.
• CFG scripting. Reagan is able to script configuration files.
• Reagan knows the basics of most other forms of modding, minus modelling.

Opinions

Releasing

While Reagan mods often, he rarely releases content. He enjoys creating huge, monumental projects rather than a single file.

Resource Modding

Resource modding is when a modder uses other people resources in order to create mods. An extreme example of this would be a skin pack compiled by another user other than the original author. While Reagan is opposed to extreme examples of this, like KOTF, he thinks it is sometimes unavoidable. Reagan believes that, while it is better to create your own material, a modder should not be limited to creating mods simply because creating an aspect of the mod's content is outside of their skill set. As long as proper documentation is provided, and if the author incorporates his or her own work into the release, then it is fine.

Porting

Porting is when a user takes material from one game to another. While Reagan is against porting, he is conflicted about the 'grey area' it provides. Many mods and addons packages sound effects directly ported from another game. Sometimes, the desired content is completely unreproducible, and it leaves the modder trapped in a legal gray zone.
