  1. Just to put some ideas here - all currently in baseJA.
  2. In this topic we can see the progress of the maps of the SCP CHAOS OPS mod (which I am obviously creating). Due to the fall of the forum where I published the advances, now I am here publishing them. The first advances are: from the maps of the 3rd campaign of mod. These maps are not all 1: SCP Base: I was inspired by the SCP Containment Breach maps 2: The canon. 3: Drainage and electric zone. 4: The office of boxes. 1st part: I was inspired by the map of The Office Complex, by Counter Strike Source 5: The office of boxes. 2nd part: I was inspired by the map of The Office Complex, by Counter Strike Source 6: The office of boxes. 3rd part: I was inspired by the map of The Office Complex, by Counter Strike Source and the map of Warehouse, by Left 4 Dead. These maps and others, are part of the 3rd campaign of SCP Chaos Ops. What is this mod: in the 3rd mission of X (our character). Its objective is to save the immune ones from the clutches of the zombies and the Chaos Insurgency. In addition to destroying SCP-008, which has the Chaos Insurgency. Credits: Treyarch: for the lamps, shelfts, the engineer helmet and vehicles Valve: for the furniture, pens, chairs, refrigerators, textures and vehicles. and other props from different authors.

After picking away at Kanan the past month and a half I decided just to take a quick break for a day or so and have some fun designing and getting used to the pipeline for Jedi Academy before I move back onto Kanan. Spent the day so...roughly 6/7 hours on this in total I had gotten alot further along but yeah ...Dont forget to save kids! I designed the helmet mostly from my mind I used the original art for the Storm trooper as a big inspiration and while I'm far from done as you can tell I'm starting to like it. I should have it in the game and ready for download by...Okay I'm going to say Wednesday latest as i need to to get a move on and finish my Kanan project. Any ideas/changes post them up, cheers!

Remember, I have literally been waiting for help for a long time. Although at the moment I am working on the mod, I have not been able to continue satisfactorily due to the lack of these models.   10. So yesterday, I thought it'd be great fun to make a Korriban map, despite the fact that there're some good ones already out there. Today, I'm wondering why I even considered it. It wouldn't be too hard to throw some rooms together, slap a coffin in the middle, and call it done... but where's the fun in that? I'm trying to avoid doing just that, and I've run into a wall. The maps my friends and I seem to like tend to have buttons, and shiny, neon signs, and well, they're more modern than Korriban seems to be. That's about half of the problem. I don't know how to make the map fun without having to add, for lack of a better term, "role play" elements. A few pits, a rancor, and some traps won't really cut it, but what else does the place have? The other half is the fact that I've not really planned the layout. That's kind of important, but I don't really know what I want in the map. Sooo, what would y'all put in a less modern Korriban map? Any ideas? This is all I have so far, which is really only one room:

  12. Hey everyone! I'm currently working on Plasma's Kylo Ren's reskin (the original model: https://jkhub.org/files/file/2977-kylo-ren-tfa-tlj/) and I'd like to share some details with you. Well, it concerns Episode 7th's models by now, I don't know, if I'm gonna change smth at 8th's (yes probably). We'll see about that I'm new to this thing and I had no idea how to work with models until I've started this project. But I've done a good job in my opinion, especially for a newbie. Actually, the first model is already done. I only need to finish retexturing. The next ones (there will be 5 models) are based on the first one, so the process should be going faster. Some info about changes I've done. The most part of my work took the skirt (hips robes). There were some mistakes and many attempts, but eventually I've done what I wanted. Well, 99% of it I was also trying to do the side cuts, but it doesn't work in the game the way I want. Anyway, I'm pleased the result a lot! Also, there was some work with padding (editing), hood (replacement and editing), the left part of the scarf (torso cape - editing), hips (replacement), boots (replacement) and the main retexturing (still working on it ). The models will have a more darker view (darker outfit), it's closer to the film version in my opinion. Dunno what to say else, I'll just give you some look with comparison with the original model (by Plasma). This little tease is from the back, because it's done. I mean the texture. When I finish the retexturing, I'll give you the full picture of the model I hope you will like it! Share your opinion down here and May the Force be with You
  13. With the recent announcement of The Clone Wars coming back, my prequel interest is at an all time high. After playing Circa's prequel conversion mod for days, I got an idea. What if the game took place during Order 66? This mod will replace a few weapons and models to have the story fit Revenge Of The Sith and its immediate aftermath. Replacements implemented so far: Alora replaced by Asajj Ventress Variations of reborn replaced by Jedi Hunters Clone troopers replacing Stormtroopers ARC troopers replacing Stormtrooper officers and commanders The DL44 replaced by the DC17 E11 replaced by the clone carbine Repeater replaced by DC15 Changes Pending: Tavion to Female Inquisitor from Rebels Luke to be replaced by a hologram Obi Wan Possibly turning Rosh into Ezra

  16. I want to share with you with my newest project. It is still WIP and it is my break project from cloud city modification. I choose one of my favourite duel locations as my inspiration. I proudly introduce you to the Langerd's Arena For now we have 3 Levels of difficulty and every level has 10 stages. In Total we have 30 stages. Our goal? Kill every enemy on the stage. After killing all of them the : STAGE COMPLETE messege shows up and than we can jump into the pit because the teleporter will show up. It will lead us to the next stage! There are 2 optional features before going into the arena (i want to add more.Give me some ideas pls). Buttons that change the arena gameplay : -Objects/platforms - when turned on every arena will have objects or platforms. I want to add something more complex but believe me - this small change makes a big difference while fightning enemies. -Kyle Katarn's Help - we can decide if we want Kyle Katarn as a helping npc. If it turned on Kyle will spawn next to the player on the arena BUT one thing - he dies - we lose him. He can be easly killed by pushed into a pit or if too many enemies will attack him so! Pay attetnion on him About the visuals i rly payed attention on the episode 1 lightsaber duel scenes , the hangar the theed etc. Also the generator Shaft which i wanted to be the most iconic part of this mod.   18. Hey everyone! So... in the past I've created various different Lightsaber hilts, ones that focus mainly on multiple blades! Numbers ranging from 2 to 8! But I never released them before because they are technically not finished, mostly cause I'm a beginner at modeling and I'm lazy with texturing lol! Despite the ugly/lazy looking hilts, the main thing I cared about was the concept of multi-bladed Lightsabers... especially because I always found it odd that almost no mods exist that fully utilize the built-in ability to have up to 8 blades for a single hilt! Only ones I've ever seen have been "x" shaped sabers here and there, and then of course there's those 4 Lightsaber hilts that go with that one General Grievous mod with 4 arms (you know the one I'm sure, lol). Sure there's also a decent amount of two headed hilts but other than that, not much else..... until NOW!!! For this first Lightsaber, I actually lied lol... because this one I did upload! (but this is the only one I released so far) I guess I'll start with showing that first!   20. Hey friends. So I've recently been on a huge modding kick, and I've really always wanted to accomplish some OT single player missions. They are so tricky because finding good source maps for the mission is difficult - as many mappers who've created great OT maps have gone inactive over the years. The Throne Room duel was a no brainer for me because (1) the duel is simply amazing and deeply cinematic, and (2) JKO has a pretty nifty Deathstar map (you may remember ffa_deathstar from JKO). So I decompiled Raven's map, retextured it, gave it a facelift, and added some details. Now, it still needs a bunch of work, but I'm not a mapper at heart, so I'm satisfied for the moment. Anyway, here is my progress: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vktCsZ1oeak As you can tell there are a few...janky moments: the Emperor rotating with his chair (such a headache), the Emperor's spaghetti hands (yeah...I'll need to reanimate that), and the simply bizzare saber hand off between Vader and Emperor (you have no idea how hard it is to convincingly fake this. Sorry for the terrible camera angle). My goal here is to be as 1:1 with the film as possible, but the scene is simply too long. I'm going to have to cut a LOT of filler lines, and distill it to the important part. The cutscene is already 2 minutes long, and I wouldn't want to go super long! Anyway, the gist of the gameplay will obviously be the duel between Luke and Vader, but I have some ideas how to make it a bit more special than that. I'll be manipulating the player's force powers, to reflect their current skill set (over the duel, you'll get new abilities, saber and powers, as you get into the force). I'm trying to make dueling A LOT harder than base JA makes it. I'm not a huge fan of how JA dueling in SP descends into just hack, slash, repeat. My goal is to give the player as many choices in the duel as possible. As Luke, you'll constantly be battling against the dark side, and will be able to turn at any point. There will be a bunch of neat "alternate endings" because of this. Hope you guys dig this! No idea when this will be anywhere near finished...but I hope to have more updates soon.   22. My project is revolving around the investigation of an outpost that leads to a bigger adventure. Its going to be Jedi-less so no force or light sabers, like the first few levels of Jedi Outcast. These still aren't 100% completed but it gives you an idea of what I am doing, or, attempting to do. hehe. This mapping stuff is a royal pain in the butt. The images a bit brighter in game but I am going with a darker theme for my project. I don't like the sterile look that the original game had. This is a hallway within the station. All the doors, like the one in the shot, are open with the button. That's pretty neat. I also needed something to kill the emptiness in the hallways so I made some AC/Heating duct-work on the ceiling. It also made brackets on it. This is a shot of the warehouse of the station. I made it look a bit like a warehouse store with racking, pallets, and even a Star Wars universe repulsor lift lift-truck. I used the Func_bob on it so it basically just sits there and goes up and down a few units. This is the end of the hallway and to the left of the first image. Behind the railing are the stairs to get down to the basement level. I'd have images of that but i ran into errors and all sorts of compiling problems and the map crashing the game. I was lucky to save the first level. So, back at it again.
