The map is like an asteroid with lot's of different themes on it (Formula 1, Indiana Jones, real life etc.). NOTE: Yeah, I read that stuff about "maintaining a consistent style throughout the map" but whatever, I like being a little different It's kinda huge, and there are a few ships on it (I know, "JA is not a flying game", but don't fly if you don't like it...) It supports FFA, TFFA (and JKR). In the beginning it was supposed to be a clan map, but now when I'm done I've realised there are only 3 "clany" areas (which are all pretty well hidden) and one or two clan banners. And I think I might have hit the world record in "secret area count", but I'm not sure... After 6 days and 6 nights the brothers fell asleep. When they woke up they both where furious! Someone simply had to win! They built a new duel room. But no one won there either. They built more duel rooms, but no one won. After some months the asteroid was full of duel rooms and stuff. Darth Ugnaught said to his brother: We must find some way to see who’s the greatest!     Release Date: 18.11.2016 Filesize: ~12MB Story background: As invasion moves forward, Sith forces had managed to break thin line of Alliance defenses and are directly threating Dac system. Small strike team from local garrison slipped through enemy's security systems. Few Jedi Knights are trying to reach bridge deck, before invasion starts. Eliminating Sith leader just in time might save whole planet from total annihilation... Description: Play as a Jedi (BLUE team) or Sith forces (RED team) on this TFFA map. The fate and the result of this extremely important clash is in your hands. Map was designed for saber dueling and epic cinematics. It has several breakable objects (mostly glass and some cables), traps (huge heat radiators may harm or even kill you) and powerful trigger on the bridge, which completely changes whole room after activating (use your lightsaber or force push to activate it). This is my second map, it was meant to be small and full of lights/effects, but it has developed to be a little bit larger. Although I've added FFA and DUEL gametypes, I would strongly suggest using TFFA gametype, just for the "story" purposes. I placed spawnpoints in distant areas, so fight should occur in the middle section, and later move on the bridge itself. I wouldn't recommend fighting in BLUE team spawn area though. Lastly, I would like to give an advice for current or future mappers. This map was meant to be a short project, but it somehow took me extra months to finish. I've learned a lot during that time, made many changes to initial idea and, for sure, as many mistakes. I wasn't really keen to rush this map, but it started to delay me from different projects. It shows the neccesity of planning everything before you start building it in Radiant. You will save yourself a lot of precious time. Also, check out my previous project: Yavin 4 Riverside Instructions: Put pk3 file to your gamedata/base directory. Choose map from in-game menu (TFFA, Duel, Power Duel, FFA modes) or open your console and type /devmap siege_of_dac Known bugs: If you're having problems with performance (low fps, etc.) turn off dynamic glow. Explosion effects at the bridge sometimes won't play after restarting map and on modded servers. Dunno why. Map will work corectly on base jk3, but more advanced mods/overhauls might override effects. Copyright/License: Feel free to download and play.     Filesize: ~7,2MB Description: This is my first fully-developed (riiiight...) map. It was created for roleplaying or cinematic purposes, so it's basically focused on terrain design. I was trying to capture that specific "Yavin 4" mood, with lots of rain, moisture and greenery. It has a very dense flora, which surrounds muddy paths sculpted by water. Terrain was generated using Easygen, after that I've manually added mountain pass and flat terrain on the other side of the river - which might look like natural transitions to other maps of your choice. As I said, map was designed for roleplaying, so there isn't much to do, unless... FFA! Because of that, I recently added several spawnpoints, so now you may use it as a harsh environment for jungle combat. Trees and bushes will provide extra cover, and potentially may help you ambush poor souls beneath you. Unfortunately, map has several flaws - it could be more optimized, but I simply cannot pour more time into it, so I am releasing it as it is. Sorry! Huge thanks to @Thrust for all that stupid questions he had to answer... and he did it flawlessly. Without his support, this map couldn't be completed. Also, shoutout to all my friends from yavin4.pl, for their unaware beta-testing and opportunity to release this map as a part of our mappack. Enjoy! And so, making those two pieces fit would be practically impossible. This be also the reason why I didn't make the loading ramp leading to the Hawk's interior, in case anyone wanted to know. - I also know alot of people will ask why I didn't make the Dantooine plains while I was at it, and there are several reasons: It would be extremely hard to make it look alright, considering the shape of the "hills" that are out there. If I for some reason should be able to make it, the map would be too big, or, I would have to place "invisible walls" everywhere, to limit the area. And if there are things I really hate in a map, it's "invisible walls". - Additionally, if anyone's going to ask why the skybox is so easy to hit, that would be because the structure of the original map itself did not open up for alot of bunny-jumping. It would just mess up alot, and sometimes allowing the jumping player to see over the walls and into the rooms beyond it, which I do not want to happen - but it is regretable anyway. And so, as those three questions above has been answered here in the read-me, I will not be answering them later on, so don't ask.

Date of Release : December 24th, 2015 *Attention : seta com_hunkMegs 128 or higher is required* ====================================================================== Description: The Temple of Mechanism Location : Yavin 4 Backstory: The Temple of Mechanism is an Ancient temple only recently discovered without much known about the previous inhabitants. They did leave a few clues behind and it seems the previous occupants were harnessing an unknown power which they called "The Force". Discovering the possibilities this new power gave them. Set in a time before there were "Jedi" or "Sith". Map History: Originally, The temple of Mechanism was intended to be a follow up map for an old map called "The Outhouse". I begain making the map when I was active in the community back in 2004 or 2005. I did some work on the map back in the day but never officially released it. I didn't play JK2 for a long time until I decided to get GTK radiant working again in 2013. Working on the map off and on since 2013 it's now ready to be released to the public. This map was built with fun being the main focus. Multi level paths are found throught the map with many secrets and places to explore. Specifically built for JK2 1.02. There is some functionality built into the design only 1.02 participants can utilize. This map is a compilation of sorts. I've gone through many of the maps I have made in the past and have cut, pasted and redesigned everything to complete this map. It did not make it any easier that way but everything has just fit so nicely together. Players who have seen any or many of my previous maps I have made for JK2 will recognize little and big details everywhere. It's really hard to say how much time I have spent making the map since some elements were made for other maps in a differnt timeline. ====================================================================== PK3 Details: Included are 2 maps. The Main map, mech^1temple.bsp has compatibality for Free for All, Team Free for All and Jedi Master gametypes. Mech^1golf.bsp is compatible with FFA, TFFA and Jedi Master. Pk3 Mod Instructions: In the map are many textures that can be replaced making a pk3 with your own textures. I was going to make a mod to include here with picture dimensions etc but I will give instructions instead. The main thing is to make sure a texture mod for the map, all the pictures u are replacing be the same size as the ones seen in the game. Then wrap them up in a pk3 and call it zmymechtemple mod or something. DESCRIPTION**: Massassi Temple On Yavin 4 COMMENTS: This map contains the following: ~6 Floors, basement added into those numbers ~Yavin_Trial setup in JA straight from Jedi Outcast ~The map has heavy model usage ~Under the hangar, underground section lays all the trialing areas ~3 Music switches ~Ambient sound effects ~Remote from Single Player in the bot room ~Training sticks for staff and single that do 1 damage 1st Floor contains the following: ~Galaxy Map Room ~Dueling Room ~Bot Room ~Force Room ~Archives ~Catwalk for masters or spectators to view all rooms in a safe position away from harm 2nd Floor contains the following: ~Dorms ~Bathroom ~Mess Hall ~Tech Room ~Medical 3rd Floor contains the following: ~Ceremony Hall 4th Floor contains the following: ~Command Center ~Switch to open the door to the trial area, Trial Entrance ~Music Switches 5th Floor contains the following: ~Roof Access The yavin_trial area is designed for 1 person at a time and requires a map restart to resetup the entire area for a new runner due to it's script usage. Since the area itself was originally a single player map in Jedi Outcast. Higher level force powers will also render the majority of the area pointless. It's designed for core force powers and basic problem solving. The following force powers are all you need to complete the trial area: ~Level 1 Push ~Level 1 Pull ~Level 1 Jump ~Level 1 Speed No weapon is required to finish the area. I tested the whole yavin_trial area a few times and it worked for me. One thing I changed was the pillar, it now is stationary, but the force cage at the end is still in place. It is possible to get the Ysalimari inside the cage, for it is the only way to finish and exit the yavin_trial area. A hallway connects the yavin_trial areas exits to a hangar lift and to the yavin_final themed trial dueling area. The trial dueling room can be accessed at any time via the elevator to the exit of the trial area. The last door to yavin_trial can only be opened from the inside. Map loading up time was around a minute or so on my computer, roughly that of a base JK map. If there is ANY missing textures or walls missing. Be sure to post and let me know so that I may fix it.

    This map was inspired by the Trial map used in Jedi Outcast, without the things like running over a bridge or along a corridor, or standing on a pillar to open a door, etc. I've included the Source file so people can modify it, so long as I'm given credit, or should they wish to improve upon it so I can upload an updated/improved version (giving them credit for improvements). I took some textures from Jedi Outcast for the Telekinesis Switches because they weren't in the Academy base files. The map isn't overly big, as it is designed to test students who are learning, the target group being Roleplay communities, thus the following abilities are required to complete the map: Jump 1 Push 1 Pull 1 No external NPC's were used, only Stormtroopers, Sentries and Reborns designed to test say a child of 10-13's abilities. A big thanks to @MagSul for talking me through certain parts when I was confused and to @JungAk for testing it.

    This is a Halloween-themed version of FFA4, the Rift Sanctuary map on Chandrila! It's got a completely different feel to it, with torchlight and fiery reds, oranges, and yellows everywhere! Decorations include strings of lights, bowls of Halloween goodies, posters for classic horror movies, and an office for your favourite witch! As you venture outside, lightning streaks from dark clouds high overhead, and a sliver of moon appears if you know just where to look! Are those wolves? Duck inside the cavernous crystal room... wait, what's that sound? Whirling winds and a pulsing, eerie glow from the depths... what are those bars there to keep in? Is that a coffin? No! Something's trying to get out! There are a few little secrets here and there, including a music room where you can change the background music to suit your mood. If you can find it, that is! High in the air there's a blood-curdling scream... *faints*

    This is a map that was originally submitted to JK3Files way back in 2009. You have stopped at a desert outpost on Tatooine. It's a place where travelers between cities might stop for a rest or some other types of legal or illegal activities. Explore around above and below ground. There are consoles located throughout the map which will spawn unfriendlies if you choose to activate them. Proceed with caution! Search around for weapons other than your light saber, you may need them. If you're running an older PC, I do caution you against spawning all of the NPCs at one time!

One with rows of cells and locked iron doors, padded cells and operating theatres, and security bars everywhere! People have died here. There's even a graveyard full of them. But are all those who died here in the graveyard? I'm not so sure of that! You visit on a rainy, misty night, and there's just enough power to work the lights in some sections. Wind rushes through the corridors... was that someone moaning? Why are there chains hanging from the ceiling? Is someone there...? Help! You'll be glad you took your lightsaber with you as you explore this creepy place. Better hope you don't dream about it! Map info : As said above this is my first map ever, I came up with the idea during playing a game of Jedi Outcast with a few people online and felt that most of the custom maps for the game were all going by the same types of themes so I decided to create something a little new. I created the idea of a creepy or Silent Hill themed map so to speak that night and made the blueprints the next day. But since being my lazy self I never actually made it until JA came out so the idea aswell as the blueprints stuck in my mind for a year or so. It took me less than a week to read up on some great Radiant tutorials and in the same week I started up on FFA_nowhere, so this map was also my tool to learning how to do this and that. And although this map is not perfect considering I had limited resources "texture wise" and other things, it has become bigger and better than my original idea for the map. When I first got in the haunting noises were superb, the room was plain but the fact it sounded like a true horror game seriously added to the atmosphere; thank god I have control of my bladder! The next room I went to was an outdoor area, a half destroyed room where it was raining and it felt good; by that I mean it felt like it should, run down house broke apart by age and weather. The main bulk of the house is corridors (those are quite large corridors btw) which are very dark and damp with the occasional flickering light (nice touch). The bordered up windows and doors along with the various broken object and sharp corners really do give it that horror feel which helps you forget about the fact that in decor this house is somewhat lacking. There was one place that really was cool, I won't go into it fully but put it this way...just because it seems like it's a corridor that you can walk down does not mean you can walk down it....falling however is a much faster method. Oh and if you're scared of small spaces avoid this place! Solidary confinement is not a nice place. I suppose I should now point out it is infact more of an asylum and if walking past those torn down doors on cells don't freak you out...you're on a par with George Bush for reaction and intelligence! One think that puts me off this map is the fact teleporters move you from place to place through doorways which I don't think there was need for.     The Temple of Mechanism beta, Hopefully in time for May the 4th! I've got lots to do still but the map is on the road to a final release I hope soon. Many places need lighting or finished, mostly some details need to be made for the interiors, lighting work and so forth. The original outhouse map I made years ago had a mini put putt course for thermal grenades, and the Temple of Mechanism features a full 18 hole adventure golf course (it's a beta, the last few holes are in a bit of disarray.) I have tested the map both in JO and ja, some changes made for JA to work right but I did notice I missed a thing or 2. New stuff? Check Player made models by Szico - 2 trees Boothand - Torch Texture and sfx credits all supplied in the readme. Golf works great in both versions. FPS iz good. I've tested the map with 24 different bots in there with me and fps does drop a little bit then but it was still playable I've enjoyed working on this map. It's been pretty neat to see it transform over time and the WIP section has seen a few updates. If you guys like it please leave feedback on JKHub.org forums in the WIP section for the Temple of Mechanism. I like how the golf turned out. I really didn't plan on making the golf course like I did when I started lol. If you guys really like the golf course and want another one give me a holler. If a bunch of you guys like it I may make another golf course just for fun Anyway enjoy! And May the 4th be with you!

It was made on late 2012, but only could fit some time to end it to a final version, with levelshots etc. Includes the following areas: - Main Area: Hangar, Arena with transparent Glass, elevators for going to a bridge to the bottom part for some dueling and also on the other side Merc Area with a sanctuary personalized building, a house with guns and health, turrents above, and some stone boxes with hidden doors. Also at ground level you can find a door that leads to RK Trial Area. - Going to the other areas (by the door glass arena) you can check some corridors, a welcoming one with r2d2 and protocol, and on the other front side you got Council Area (a really proud for myself). Entering the building you got the SW movie posters and a waiting area for members who will attend some meeting or want to speak to some of the council. 1st Level Council Offices, 2nd Level - Leader Offices with some hidden buttons. - At the bottom level of the building you can find a door that leads to RK Council Room. - The Other Area leads to a huge bar, with some cantina song, and other area with pool table, pool clubs (check the details on this one) and some sofas, this area can also be locked, for example if we have some clan member who we need to speak too in an informal way. - From the windows you can see the sea view with houses (Jedi, Sith, Mandalorian and some members from 2011-2012, on the other 'street' you can find C and L houses) and some benches. At the end of this part huge arena, bar and beach. It was made for all the purpose possible, having some huge huge area to fit all the clan purposes and essentially have some good areas to play on, saber, ff or guns, and also roleplaying (clan managing, etc) ===================================== Legal Issues: NO MODIFICATION ALLOWED.
