DESCRIPTION: Saber Colors from Star Wars: The Old Republic, which replaces ALL of the default colors. This is the FINAL VERSION. Here is a small changelog for those interested: 1.0 - Contained only the purple saber with a pure black core. 2.0 - Contained an updated purple saber core to look more like the game, also contained new glows and cores for the yellow, blue and red sabers to look exactly how they do in SWTOR. FINAL VERSION - This will not be edited anymore, as this has fixed the red glow to look darker like in TOR and I have changed the yellow saber glow to match the TOR version, adding the TOR green saber and finally the TOR orange saber. After downloading and installing, the in-game version was VERY different from the screenshots that came with it. The file was incomplete compared to the screenshots as it had an important SHADER image missing and there was no texture for the handle. I have created both files to complete the model! Before I completed the Saber files, there were several texture issues, which caused various things not to work properly. all now fixed!     This simply turns your basic red blade into more Star Wars 7: Force Awakens blade-look-a-like and also as bonus it replaces your yellow blade into the black saber from TFU (Force Unleashed). With all my respect to Xeby for his amazing work, but since there are people, who want to have red blade I give you this version. Also his blade effect is a bit gray-ish fire, while I choosed to stay with the basic red-blade as from the teaser video, with some red lightning around it as it is. You can download the Kylo Ren player model made by Kualan here This is Kylo Ren's Lightsaber. If you didn't already know, Kylo Ren is the main antagonist in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. His unique saber is built very poorly and must utilize two ventilation ports at the top of the saber. It is, however, of ancient design that dates back to the Great Scourge of Malachor. Due to the saber containing a cracked Kyber crystal, the blade has a very unstable look to it. This saber includes custom sounds that are accurate to the ones featured in the film. It has an optional Blade Effect as well as single player support.

    Original Author: Covax Description: Ok, this is a proof-of-concept mod which will be a part of a new WBA weapons pack. I've replaced the first 5 single light sabers with various 'charged fist' effects as opposed to a light saber. I belive this is a cool frist step for both kung fu mods (like The Matrix) as well as 'super power' mods (like Dragon Ball Z/X-Men). It is recomended that you either use two 'fists' together, or a saber/fist combo. A fist by itelf just looks wierd with the current animations. Included are various blood and/or damage effects, some sounds as well as an 'Agent' to play around with. Also, I've got the standard Force Flame replacing the Lightning and Tavion's staff now shoots out a 'flame beam'. [Weapons Replaced] Saber 1 - 'Flame Fist' - The name speeks for itself - This also replaces the Sith Sword, because it's a cool scene... Saber 2 - 'Quantum Surge' - The power that Quantum Kights (long story) draw upon. Saber 3 - 'Acid Radical' - A green cloud of vapourus acid Saber 4 - 'Psi Focus' - Spiritual strenght made manifest. Saber 5 - 'Open Fist' - No weapons? No problem. - Since you have nothing to throw the alt-attack is the kick. [Characters] Agent - Original skin by Kingpin - This replaces the Imperial Officer, and gives him 'kung fu skill'. He's not too tough but just tough enough, spawn 5 and you'll apreciate a light saber more... - to spawn him type: npc spawn impofficer or bind a key (in this example the Q key) with: bind q npc spawn impofficer Kyle - Uses 'Open Fist' style, both hands. Luke & Kyle_Boss - Uses a saber in the right hand and fist with the left. Possesed Tavion - Uses two Flaming Fists. Instructions: Unpack in your /GameData/base folder, should work automatically. The new swords will show up in the menu. If you want to change weapons using cheats andable cheets with 'devmapall' and type 'saber single_<1-5>' for the effetcs. So if you want the Open Fist aka Kung Fu mode sword type: saber single_5 single_5 or if you want a saber on the right hand and fist on the left it's: saber single_7 single_5 Credits: (Keep up the good work guys!)     (Please note - This is a re-release and as such some of the readme content is old and outdated) Due to feedback, and the fact that I myself was not satisfied with my previous release of this blade pack, I have completely remade the glows for my Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith Lightsaber Blades. Most people were unhappy with the sky blue blade, and after a 5th viewing of the movie, I was too. So I have gone back and made the blue closer to what is seen in the film, and also made the glows about 64 pixels thinner. While this introduces a little bit of grainyness, the overall blade looks much better.

    Hello again fans of JKA! No I'm not dead, nor is this mod: I'm proud to announce that the Taspir level retexture is now completely finished and uploaded as a seperate pack. I added a better version of every wall/ground/object/rock/metal plate (etc.) texture of at least double the resolution of the original, and the filesize went right up to about 210mb because i added a TON of detail to the original blurry textures. Also I tried to enhance the look and feel of Taspir by choosing custom lava and rocky terrain textures throughout all parts of the level, and by adding way more scratches and grain to all original textures to achieve a more realistic look. I went with a new approach this time, I wanted to keep the original atmosphere and stay faithful to the original texture design so i kept nearly all textures but improved them as far as i could, adding scratches, noise, grain, dots and more details. I'm very happy how this turned out and will use this workflow for future releases too in combination with my usual approach of swapping unrealistic textures with photorealisitc ones. Please let me know what you think - is this the way to go for future packs too? This would result in a real "Hi-Rez-Retexture", although my original idea was to also change textures with more "real" looking ones. Feel free to contact me via PM! Here are some screenshots showing some examples of the retexture. Please look at them in full resolution otherwise the differences are not as clear.

    Original Author: Snowgrim Description: Adds blood to both single and multiplayer in Jedi Academy, for all you violent people out there. Comments: This is a sequel to a blood mod I made for JO. As you probably have already worked out, blood+(SP).pk3 is for single player and blood+(MP).pk3 is for multiplayer. Either file can be used in both SP and MP, however, the SP mod will not have blood spatters on the walls in MP, and the MP mod is likely to decrease SP performance. I have addressed a number of problems with my earlier mod: most importantly the blood no longer glows in the dark (Huzzah!, it's only taken 10 months to work this out), also due to many requests I have increased the amount of blood that is spilled, hence the name Blood+ (I was originally reluctant to add too much blood, but I actually prefer it with more now). Unfortunately I was unable to make the blood stay for longer (I believe the amount of time a decal is shown is set by a default value somwhere in JAs code and is also influenced by the limited number of decals allowed at once, but I cannot see it), however I think decals stay longer in JA than JO anyway. Finally I would like to thank the movie 'Fight Club' for the inspiration for the blood textures, and the new 27min trailer for 'Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes' for showing me how it should be done.

    Loosely based off of the Episode 2 scope seen with Zam's rifle. I took it for a spin though and made my own design, since really a Zam scope can never be achieved without the targeting system also. I wanted to do something in the same style and with the key features of the scope but add some personal touches to it. The sides of the scope are dark but not completely opaque as in base.

    I felt like making a new saberhilt , been a while sicne I made the last one o.o , and this is what I came up with : the "Dragon Lord" twin-blade saberhilt ! this was something I had in mind for a long time I allways wanted to make a great looking saberhilt with a dragonhead-shaped emitter and I allways wanted to remakeo ne of my first saberhilts , the twinblade hilt for this particular hilt I ended up combining both ideas so I hope you like it and have fun ;D

This can be done by placing the .ZIP into the directory and extracting all files from it. Then in console of JA game, spawn black saber with: saber backhand_black If you need further instructions, feel free to message me from across the JKHub website. * - - - - - - - - - - * * What do they do? * * - - - - - - - - - - * Replaces the original yellow saber to make them look like TFU black saber. Not quite TFU quality, but it's better than nothing. Also changes the saber effects and trails, they're shorter and less spammy. They actually look better in my opinion. This backhand saber has normal damage like other lightsaber.. -- NOTE -- These work better with high-performance machines, better FPS yields a better effect. I estimate that at least a rate of 90 FPS is required for a decent effect. There is a bug problem encounter with water and animation grafix. I have no ideea how to fix that, without affect the other original colors of lightsabers from the game. Well i think this is it.. the final VERSION!     What's the main difference between the lightsabers in the movies and the lightsabers in JKA? Physics! That's right! In reality, when you swing something, the very tip of the object will be moving faster than the part closest to your hand... it must travel a greater distance at a faster rate. So why would it make sense for the saber-trail of a lightsaber to be uniform across the entire blade (JKA logic)? It doesn't... so I made this here mod to try and compensate for the lack of proper lightsaber realism. It's not much, but it's all I've got! Many of you have played Movie Battles as well - no I didn't steal this from MB2. I made these images entirely on my own. I didn't even know about the MB2 lightsaber effects until someone told me. Anyways, they're clearly a lot better than what I have here - but seeing as they aren't available outside of the actual mod, this is the next best thing (so far)! Side Note: This also slightly shortens the kata's saber trail (unintentionally)... makes the kata look at lot less spammy though.

This Mod will, when finished, replace nearly all in-game textures (which seem somehow blurry and grey-ish) with High-dynamic-range-like Versions of them and/or with custom textures of 2 times (some even 8! times) the original size. It is perfectly safe and very easy to install or uninstall from your system because it will not alter the files in your installation folder directly. More detailed instructions will be included in the release(s). This will be my first real mod, so I hope people will like it and use it. This is the third Level available as an extra/seperate download, however this is a more up-to-date Version of the sandcrawler level (compared to the fromer complete pack) with several new fixes.     This mod replaces all of the levelshots in JK2 with identical, higher quality ones. The default levelshots were borderline puke-inducing quality for tiny screens. In this day in age, we have huge monitors with huge resolutions. These I made still aren't the best quality, but at least now you can tell what is in the pictures.
