Features the colors of blue, green, orange, red, yellow, and red. No it's not exactly positioned like the colors of a rainbow, I positioned the colors in a way that I personally thought looked the best! Also keep in mind that this will replace the Orange blade color. I hope you guys enjoy!     This is my first mod for Jedi Academy This mod changes the default lightsaber colors in-game. This is the fixed version of this mod in which I have fixed the orange color and the floaty white bits. I have also added a slight point to the base of the blades.     I've been working on lightsaber blades & saber_trails that look like in the prequel movies, as much as possible. To be honest, this was my first try at making lightsaber blades, taking that into consideration; this turned out pretty good. Not that there aren't enough lightsaber blade mods already, infact; there are some pretty good looking files uploaded here, but I just felt like trying something different since I feel more comfortable mapping.. Next update will include new sounds as well. I haven't tested this on OpenJk yet, but it should work just fine. Readme file included. Special thanks to Mrozy, Kody 55, Iskk & Maugrim for the screenshot.

    This is my attempt at recreating the unstable effect seen on Kylo Ren's lightsaber in episode VII. This will give red lightsabers in the game a blade that shimmers and wavers like Kylo's in the movie, complete with lightning that crackles along the length of the blade. Don't use in singleplayer if you don't want every dark jedi you meet to have somehow found a cracked kyber crystal for themselves.

    I had finished this one so long ago before i stopped playing/modding. It was initially for a request but ended up taking awhile due to trying to once and for all perfect the recreation of the very distinct saber flare effects from Episode III that i could never get right in my earlier modding attempts. The saber blades in this game are already quite similar to Ep III so i tried to add as much detail to the textures as i could to make it more then just another shaped white line mod, and spent a lot of time trying to get the trails matched up with the curved arc and thickness. The flare impacts are dynamic in the way they work so when the effect stacks for instance in a clean saber swing through a model, the effect will be large and explosive, but a nick will be a tiny flicker etc. I spent a lot of time tweaking each version (model impact, saber on saber, and blaster impact) to make them truly accurate to the movie scenes and function appropriately. I was so proud of finally getting the flares just right so i finally forced myself to put the details together and get it uploaded, hope ya'll like it.

    The flares on several lights came up with that dreaded "no texture" grey square. This .pk3 fixes that issue, so if you were having that problem, it shouldn't be a problem anymore.     Author: YashTS These were some pretty good round sabers I found on filefront/jk3 files. These don't conflict with the hilts I use so they are ideal for me. Here's the realm that came with the file, it is also included in the zip: [update: new blade shape, sounds, and colors] These recreate the blades seen in ep2. The screens are pretty bad so check it out yourself in the game. Remove any other saber mods (INCLUDING MY OLD ONES IF U HAVE EM). Put selected pk3's in gamedata/base folder (jka or jk2). The colors in the ep2.blades_v3.pk3 are using the originals. So if you want the new colors, add the other pk3's to the gamedata/base folder. Comments : have fun Update in Detail : -Fixed the saber swing (more accurate to the movie). -The shape of the blade redone -Fixed up the sound pack with cleaner sounds(episode 2 sounds). -Fixed up some colors (colors inside the pk3)

    I was looking around for saber blade retextures that makes them alot like the ones seen in Star Wars Rebels as I had fallen in love with the very thin depiction of the blades seen in the show - I had trouble finding them so I decided to create my own, this replaces the saber blade textures. Initially I also tried making the glow around the core of the blades thinner aswell, but I was having issues such as gaps inbetween the effects and other silly things, so I decided to leave the glow unaltered. Feel free to do whatever with these, they're really just a 5 second edit in Photoshop

    If you are like me and you want your lightsaber blades to look more like beams of energy like how they appeared in the original trilogy, instead of the flat and dull looking ones you see from most "Star Wars" sources today, then this just might make a fine addition to your JK2 and JKA experience!     Hello everyone, I present to you the package of visual enhancements to the colors of all lightsabers. The effects of the sabers that includes the game by default are too bright for my taste, therefore, realize other simpler and more prolix as the sabers of the prequels. THIS IS MY FIRST MOD, I hope u like it. Name: Best colors for lightsabers Category: Visual, lightsaber File type: .rar (PK3) By ZA-7 Instructions: - Extract the "Better_Lightsabers_custom_colors_BY_ZA-7.pk3" file in the "Base" folder of your game. Post data: Remember, if you have other mods that change the colors of lightsabers perhaps these new not work, therefore, I recommend eliminate or move them to another folder so that they work properly.

    A few weeks ago i tried making some accurate Star Wars Rebels blades, and figured out a way that worked surprisingly well for a more authentic looking inner glow. This inspired me to take another go at some high quality regular blades with a more detailed look to them compared to the saber mods available so far. One thing i've noticed in some of the movies is sabers getting just slightly more narrow as they go up, and having a thicker brighter inner glow inside the darker glow (some scenes/movies this is more visible then others, the well known screencap of Finn in the woods for example). It's always bugged me how sabers in this game with color around the blades end up having a kind of icecream sandwich look, with the color ending up to solid looking bordering a white line as opposed to a hazy glow around an energy blade. The inner glow tapers into the blade at the top and bottom like in some of the movies and I've added some color to the cores that gets brighter toward the middle and bottom to add contrast and detail no matter how close you get to them. I've also changed the yellow blade to the greenish-yellow of Ahsoka's shoto blade, and all textures are in the same level of high resolution as my last blades. One file has a new saberflare that looks pretty good on it's own, the other has no saberflare for anyone using them with my effects package (or a different one). Hope you like them!

    Description: This version is somewhat different to version 1 of the Kril'Dor skybox. Looking at version 1, while it was updated and different, I felt it seemed too much like a green version of Bespin and didn't really resemble a green, gas Planet, as such. So I had a re-think and thought about what this planet could actually be like in the STAR WARS universe. So overall, I thought this would be a more accurate representation of the planet, judging from the information featured in the Wookieepedia link, here; http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kril%27Dor. The image quality of the Sky is nowhere near HD, but unfortunately there wasn't really any other way to improve it, without awful pixelation.     Description: This simple mod changes the Kril'Dor skybox in the Single Player mission "Covert Operation - Kril'Dor" to look more like a proper, giant, gas planet as featured in the Wookieepedia link, found here; http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kril%27Dor. The default one in the base game, looks pretty bad, with a very ominous yellow sky and clouds, so this hopefully gives the level a bit more realism and that's much easier on the eyes. It also gives off quite a nice effect with the rest of the level/map. If you’re looking for an overall, better single player experience for this mission, then I'd certainly recommend this mod.     This mod changes the desert skybox to look more like Tatooine, complete with two suns and a vast dune sea. The default one looks pretty bad, so this hopefully improves it a little. If you’re a stickler for detail of Star Wars canon, this mod is for you. Originally made this as a request to add a second star to the sky but decided to improve the entire skybox and release it publicly. Important note: The Desert skybox is used by other maps, so it’ll change those as well. One major one is t1_danger in single player. So it might look bad on there, but if you’re a MP player, it shouldn’t be a big deal.

    This mod adds RGB (char_color_red, char_color_blue, char_color_green) support to the 45 playable base models. For any default model, the RGB skin can be accessed via the console (SHIFT+`) by typing the following command: /model MODELNAME/rgb where MODELNAME is any of the models listed below. Other supported custom models are Hapslash's Stormtrooper and Mandalorian's Boba Fett (http://jkhub.org/files/file/1947-fettpack/), if you set up the model to overwrite the default boba_fett and include the [RGB_Skins_MandaBobaFix].pk3 in your base. Once you have the RGB variant of the model selected, you can change the color instantly to any color (and other people see the change instantly [only if they have the mod as well], they do not have to "refresh" their skin list to get the updates). For example: /char_color_red 255 /char_color_blue 0 /char_color_green 0 will produce the color red. You can use any combination of R G and B (just make sure each one is between 0 and 255). If you have JAPLUS, you can use the single command "/amcolor R G B" instead of the three char_color commands. (For example, "/amcolor 255 0 0" will produce red). This mod also includes team skins and icons for the jawa model!     Title: SW 7 Blade + TFU blade (ver.2) Author: Dark_Apprentice (former known as: unleashed_dark_force) Installation: Put the pk3 file into your Base folder. Description: This simply turns your basic red blade into more Star Wars 7: Force Awakens blade-look-a-like and also as bonus it replaces your orange blade into the black saber from TFU (Force Unleashed). My opinion is that the teaser video, the blade is red not orange, so now you'll have choice. I noticed, that there are a lot new mods for the "Force Unleashed" black/white/negative saber blade or whatever it is called. So since I was one of the very first to make it for Jedi Academy (JKA), together with one old friend - Spior - and no need to install mods like "JKA+" and since some say the "old version 2" was better as TFU blade, I have combined the last (SW 7 Blade + TFU blade ver.1) together giving you this brand "new" version 2 of the "Star Wars 7 - red/sith blade & bonus Force Unleashed black blade" WARNING: THIS IS !!N-O-T!! a real-based blade effect on the Star Wars 7 movie, since it is even not out yet (comes out December 2015) I just made own blades!! They have nothing to do with the movie. INSTALL: Put the "SW 7 Blade + TFU blade (ver2).pk3" into your: JediKnight\GameData\Base folder and you are ready to go UNINSTALL: Remove the .pk3 file from your "Base" folder
