    So anyone know where to look to get tips on SWBF2 modding? Trying to get back into it with new units and weapons and so on.

      High poly is overrated in a game like that. Jedi Academy renders what, at most 10-12 characters at a time? Lots of Battlefront maps have 20-40 on screen at once (modded maps, that is)

    I was just testing out DarkXL. Just WOW. I can't believe how good it works and how fun is to play the original Dark Forces.

      I'll never understand the hatred for porting. The argument that nobody learns how to do things from scratch is a bit null at this point. After 14 years you're lucky to have such a strong community who still has a relatively large amount scratch builders, and in addition to that there are a handful of people porting stuff. Isn't more a good thing in this case, especially considering the game's age?

      A Google search for "Kotf hotfix" found a few helpful results. Give that a try. Most people here hate KotF (long story) so we might not be the best ones to help.
