thank you so much oh I have 1.6 and it is buggy as in it flickers and crashes like I said

I have recently downloaded gtk radiant and it keeps flickering and crashes and I do not know what else to do it isn't my video card or my pc i just need to know what I can do to prevent it thank you for any suggestions i am open for them
