What's this based on? I was missing a couple textures in the alpha although for some reason I took screenshots and I can't seem to find them o well. Are those pillars indoors ace models? Also I'm getting a flickering when I look out at the skyportal on the edges of the screen almost like it's hitting max draw distance on that diagonal distance that could probably be fixed in the world spawn. How many brushes does this thing take up because it looks insanely detailed?

Haven't really been mapping much this month bc I got busy but I'm kind of short idea for adding to the map. Wondering if anything dawns on anyone.

Ok i can launch a dedicated server in jk2 on JKMV just fine. works well. I opened my ports I needed on my router and ppl could join it fine.
However in jk3 when I launch a dedicated server on openjk as well as trying on eternaljk all of the shaders 100% are missing and it's just white looking grids everywhere. I had a friend try and same thing happened to him. I will note if I just do \devmap and test a map locally it works perfectly fine as well as when I join others servers things works fine.

they needed to make the NF dueling more complex. Think like Tekken 7. Lots of combos, complexity etc. that would be the ideal

alternative to yavin skybox?
anyone know where one exists or is for sale. I like the Giant red moon of the default yavin skybox but I just don't like seeing same thing over and over.

ok so I recently had a problem with jka functioning after I downloaded some conversion mod from this site. Then I couldn't uninstall or install either...from the CD
regardless, someone suggested I just download it from GOG which I did. things are working....but.
I'm having the issue where a lot of the common shaders are failing namely: system/physics_clip, system/clipmodel_nodraw, the default sky.tga file is not displaying, system/skip, system/caulk, system/trigger, system/areaportal.
I believe the custom shaders and such I have in gamedata\base\shaders are working fine other than the sky.tga is failing to load in radiant.
where does netradiant get its image to display for caulk?
Because I can't even get basic caulk to display in netradiant?
Also -> I noticed caulk it has white dotted line around caulk so it seems to recognize it as a shader. It's just not displaying an image for it in netradiant? does the new netradiant lack images for stuff like area portal, caulk, skip, sky.tga, trigger etc?

I don't think it's letting me submit a map because it keeps saying Your content will need to be approved by a moderator.
Maybe it's working and it's not apparent?

Does shearing still exist? I can't seem to make it work in netradiant but it's probably there. It's one of my more common techniques I like to use.

gtkradiant vs netradiant custom?
What's the advantage of one to the other? I actually couldn't get netradiant to work right or load textures\shaders, but if I mess with it enough I probably can. However, what is the advantage of it over just using gtkradiant 1.4? Can you make larger maps or such?

ok haven't mapped in 4 or 5 years.
First question: is this thing 32 bit or 64 bit. should it be in program files on windows (64 bit) or x86 (32 bit)?
second question.
What's the point of the gamepack step of adding it? does it not just reference the installed jka game?

Any mapping project you'd be putting in insanely more hours than anyone could pay for btw.

Pretty sure that disrupting the jk2 and jka master servers was in Aleksandr Dugin's famous book The Foundations of Geopolitics with regard to disrupting the US.

Wish this was somehow cross compatible with PC stuff but probably won't be. I was gonna post this but you beat me too it. I played the original xbox version in the early 2000s and it was terrible so that's kind of what I would expect.
In the xbox version they didn't even patch the game they left it on 1.02.
