  4. Just made an account today. Very happy to be a part of this modding community :) Even though I can't mod anything or have any sort of Skin making experience XD

  5. Doing another playthrough on Outcast. Forgot how fun this game was!

Totally! I could see it needing a bit of modern spice haha! I just forgot how good the level design was...some of the puzzles and stuff are just so neat!

  8. Question: What are your guys views on brutal honesty and translating it into legitimately critiquing others' work. I.E. Models or kitbashes?

Being kind and complementing a work buys you credibility to make more constructive comments on a work. In order for them to value your voice/opinion, you have to earn their respect. Do that by being a good person.

  9. Hmm... in light of my new findings, The Force Awakens is actually not a bad movie at all. Sure it's not OT, but it's not that far off. It will all come together in the sequel this year. The problem was that they kept the first installment way too hush-hush in the series, afraid to give away any plot points at all. The story is actually not that bad.

Oh absolutely! Poe was most certainly meant to die, but the actor convinced JJ to write him back in. Is it incredibly odd? Definitely.

Cerez: BB8 recognized the jacket that Poe was wearing, that's why BB8 told Rey to attack Finn.

Interesting! Glad to hear you say that :) Yeah, I think TFA has the potential to be excellent if The Last Jedi does amazing, bold things. But, if TLJ falls flat, then the great (but admittedly somewhat safe) TFA will also sink in my opinion.

  14. When people say we've had no good Star Wars games, they are wrong. We've had Dark Forces, and we've had KOTOR -- both brilliant games that pushed the creative boundaries of what was possible in a video game.

I sometimes wish I could unplay the first KOTOR so I could experience it again for the first-time lol

  15. It seems these days every yuppie gets to make his own Star Wars film. Just because it's called Star Wars, doesn't mean it is Star Wars. Star Wars needs to be felt -- and that's one of the hardest things to pull off right -- something that apparently Disney seems completely clueless about.

I guess your criteria is difficult since this clearly made the director "feel" the SW universe. What exactly do you mean? I'll admit R1 didn't create strong attachments to its characters but it was a very likable ensemble of interesting characters I'd love to read a book on sometime.

I really like the world that Star Wars creates and how it still manages to tell relatable stories within that crazy world. I really liked Rogue One's commentary on Rebellion and the contrast between Cassian and Jyn. I think aesthetic, Episode 7 and R1 fit right in to Star Wars, better than the prequels even.

  17. Last school exam ever tomorrow. Can't believe I've nearly finished it and off to uni in a few months :|

  18. Dear old-school Star Wars fan, you mustn't cry. In case you didn't know, Disney owns the copyright to that emotion, now. Make sure to keep smiling, and pretend that we don't own your world. Oh, and you have to go see our next blockbuster where we put an end to over 20 years of Star Wars legacy! We hope you'll love it as much as we do... old fart! :shifty:

I don't know. Limbs being chopped around gets a bit old and ridiculous too. The lightsabers this time had a lot more weight to them. Seemed a lot more intimidating. Its just a new form of dueling that doesn't rely on limb shots, which is a nice new direction IMO.
