  1. I do have a bit of a work-in-progress that I've been working on, in addition to other mandalorian models. I've created it as an MB2 replacement, but I can see about getting it released for just OpenJK. It's 8.5k verts, though, so it's a large boy.

Right now, it needs some extra weighting work done, and I can't seem to remember how double sided faces work in JKA, but other than that, it's fairly good to go.
EDIT: Also needs shaders, almost forgot.

  2. People like you are why I wont release downloads.

I don't think Mini's comment was really meant to offend you, just him correcting you and then making a general statement, which is true all around. Everyone starts somewhere, and recently, it's been more or less with Kitbashing, and I think that's more or less because of a surge of activity in the modding community.

No need to get offended and attack him.

  3. Hiii dudes!!

all this is in progress ;) but well its my attempt to recreate commander bly skin, with @Commander Awesome model/kitbash/Mars Marshall assets :D

soo... maybe we need those things that differentiate these variants of clones commander, but it looks impeccable alike with good skin and joining parts of other models!

Looks good, Only qualms I have are the holster placements and some slight discoloration. Otherwise, nice work!

  4. If you wanted to modify the body armor to resemble the Phase I clones more closely, you could just shorten the vertex that pushes out the breastplate a little bit, and then move vertexes so that where in between the belt and the lower torso armor, the indent is a little higher up. Those are the major differences between p1 and p2, with the main others being the shoulders and the straps for the torso armor.

But the helmet itself looks great. Maybe a few touchups here and there, but looks good.

As a complete newcomer to the modeling scene, I've spent about 4-6 hours a day learning the basics of Blender for the past week. I've done some kitbashing with JKA models to other JKA models, but that was it, until this fine project. As as member of the Mandalorian clan, it's hardly a surprise that I love Mandalorians. And since the only models of Pre Vizsla don't include his phase 2 helmet, I took one from the Clone Wars Adventures game and put it on Mandalorian's Jango Fett. After everything that has happened, the only real problem I've come across is UV mapping it. I have no idea what I'm doing. Everytime I've tried, I couldn't even get a coherent texture. Any tips/advice on how UV Mapping works in blender, (or in general) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  6. Once I stop sucking at windows I want to get this jka friendly

These models are all really good, especially considering they're from a mobile game. Good Luck, Cassian would be a great addition.

I was trying to do the Sabine one, but I have no idea what I'm doing. I'll figure out in time though, unless someone beats me to it. (and maybe even if someone does)

  7. ^^ I know this, im referring to pauldrons, goggles, jetpacks and such since they are mesh parts ^_^

Most of this stuff is already readily available, and able to be put onto his model such as:

Though I believe we could use better, higher quality accessories (especially a kilt), the framework is already there.
