      I see. What file formats does SoftImage use? .xsi right? I'm guessing there's tutorials in the tut section for animating with it, maybe by you?

      So Dragon allows you to extend bones past their natural ability... is it hard to make exaggerated animations in other tools? In JA exaggerated animations generally look much better than subtle ones.

      It's probably not a bad thing, as long as people don't get too obsessive with it or use it to be a jerk/marginalize other people (which hearsay says happens with some consistency)

    How can you make an NPC with an E-11 rifle shoot in rapid bursts instead of single shots? I've seen some NPCs do that, so is it possible to modify any NPC of my choosing to do so?

      In the new version of Dusty's Patch you can use the npc field to force alt-fire. In JK2 class_imperial and class_rodian always use alt-fire with the e-11 if I remember right.

    The Assassin Droids in JKA's Coruscant level were too weak. Gave them missile launchers and tripped their health.

      But they stand no chance against the demp2 my friend. In Dusty's Patch they can fire with their shields still up because I honestly thought that was really dumb.

    Trying Escape From Yavin IV using OpenJK. It's fun, but I'll have to replace the models and skins eventually. Some of the Lightsabers are blegh, a couple models are showing their age really badly (especially Maul) and the voice acting can be hilariously bad at times

      eventually you are allowed to be in the presence of the Lord. In the original language, I believe hell is referred to as a "punishment of the ages" which leaves the translation a little bit open to interpretation. Is it forever? A long time? Either way, calling it the second death makes sense. Either you are separated from God forever, you cease to exist, or your sin nature "dies". Heavy stuff.

      To throw my hand in this... There are different beliefs about hell and the death/eternality of the soul (in Christianity). Personally I think it makes the most sense for your soul to be immortal, that aside... The traditional (or most common today) view is that hell is eternal. Another view is that your soul dies in hell, or at least you "cease to exist". Another view is that hell may last a long time, proportional to the way you live your life, but that it is "purifying", and...

      Perhaps I broke a rule? Now that I think about it, I did include a few files with it. I suppose that's a nono for OpenJK-based downloads. (Still I can't help but think this is a silly rule...)
