Update: We had some help from JKhub and through our development forums, thanks to this we have our server running JKopen Base now. The server IP is dynamic at this point. The name is Training Grounds. It will be static and Base when my friend moves it to final.

So me and my friend have been talking last night about what server setup we want to put to use. @@Circa We are planning on using base as it stands right now. If we get some people to get it going we might be able to plan some future old fun base clan-matches between our clans. We have a structure planned that we want to put to use. It's basicly as good as done but nothing is final at this stage. All threads are open and so you don't have to login to see it. Hoping you will have a look at it and give us some feedback. If you are still playing this game and want to help please let us know. we are open-minded and will listen / read everything and will always give a reply. PS. We made a backup of the current clan structure. We also made the forums open for non-registered members to reply. So now you don't have to register to leave a message.

The option to adjust a base map with extra locations and teleport between them. So the map can still be joined by people that do not have the map we are planning but can still join the server. I am not planning on competing in ESL, but if ESL was still running these day's it would be great to train in the same environment. So that if people would want to they could without having to adjust. If we get things running and we run into trouble I will keep that in mind thanks for the tip.

From what I remember from base you dont have that much control over your server. Though if we would train in base we could eventually go ESL without having to adjust... From what I remember from a few years ago Base was taken down within hours because it got hacked. Does OpenJK make it safe to use base again?

We are using very old files at this moment, I did a littlebit of research and found out that we best use OpenJK and JA++. Though, we are considering using clanmod. We need to familiarise ourselves with it since I for one only worked with Xmod and JA+ in the past.

We are aware of that, but if one is eager enough to help in such a project or is curious enough to at least explore it they would not see it as a big problem. Since the effort is not even half a minute of work. Also for people that just want to have a look around, we might open the forums later on but for now we want things closed.

[HL] Hidden Leaf Jedi Knight Academy. We always enjoyed Jedi Knight Academy throughout the years. Hence us putting a good system together to add something new to the current community. Our current idea: We want to create a clan that trains it's members in the art of saber skill but also has a feature to train people in the art of training others. We want to implement RP elements to give our members the oppertunity to write stories and play them out. How we are going to do this eventually depends on the development done through the forums. So check it out, leave a message and dont be afraid to ask questions or speak you mind. We are open-minded, we will listen to your feedback and idea's. But please keep it seville. Know that we are a Base clan. Server will run JKopen Base, this means we wont have mods like JA+, JA++, Lugormod or MBII installed that alter gameplay. We will play the game as it was ment to be. This also means you wont see us sleeping lamers and put people down. This is not what we have in mind for our community players. We want people to be able to enjoy the game as it was intended.
