After the map crash checked the textures – some old files somehow were CMYK (print) How and Why in the Galaxy? Doesn't matter, just a hint: if the map crashes textures profile might be an issue too.

Just a thought: what happened to the last Reborn in the end of JO? In a cutscene he is escorted by a Jedi Trainer, but is he accepted into the Academy or sent to prison?

While Youtube is testing the new design, you can watch the muted videos with sound for now.

Watched Alien: Covenant. Not that bad, as some people claim, but I do understand why it's so critisized.

John Cygan, who voiced Canderous Ordo, Mandalore the Preserver and Dash Rendar, passed away.

Here's the news on his passing from cancer.

Who would think, that there is an actual Senator from Taris in Rogue One. The other two in The Clone Wars & The Force Awakens (atlas).

Aside from big news on TLJ, there is also a video of a longer scene for A New Hope! It seems the term "Sith" was always there, we simply couldn't know. https://youtu.be/ja4WudpzBYw

Watching the Celebration. Let's see what they've got in stock for us this time.

Just watched teaser for new Battlefront. Seems we might get a real plot and story this time.

Found a music remix from Dark Forces II, played on Nar Shaddaa, which is now used in SW:TOR. At the very same planet.

Having watched The Force Unleashed on other platforms, I must say it's a very different game! There are dozens of citizens seen on Bespin and you even meet a Gungan Bounty Hunter to kill!

Well, I personally played only the PC version, and I always felt, it lacks something. As if something is missing. Having looked through concepts, articles, story descriptions, I see now, that my version is a short and dull one, to tell the truth. In one if the videos the Player throws away various Cloud City citizens, while also meeting Lobot after that.

There is a theory, how Luke's lightsaber ended in Maz Kanata's hands. But I thought, the hilt was actually sucked away from the City and into the clouds and gas of Bespin... Thoughts?

What a relief: BBY/ABY dates are Canon again. It's not that I stopped using these after cancellation, but it's much easier to put all events in one timeline. Finally.

It's mentioned in the Wookiepedia discussion, but here is an actual example: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/5_ABY/Canon
-
Oh!? Well good. It didn't make sense to use the whole "Lothal" date system. We've gotten so used to BBY/ABY it literally stuck. I wonder if Leland Chee or anyone else who loved Legends just brought the Canon team together and just said "Okay, guys. This is a mess. Let's just make BBY/ABY canon again."

New Canon: The Imperial Palace from old EU is now the reconstructed Jedi Temple, thus Palpatine resides in former Jedi Order HQ after Order 66. LOL.

Your comments are my opinion exactly. If we remember old Canon, the Imperial Palace was a very legendary place, full of stories, etc, while the Jedi Temple during the Empire was a living monument to the collapse of the Jedi and a Restricted area with obsolete corridors and ravaged hallways. I would like to think, that the Emperor still lived in the Imperial Palace, set separately from the Temple, while the latter could also be called the Imperial Palace, but in terms of jurisdiction and secur...

Pateesa – remember this name, which belongs to Jabba's Rancor. Thanks, New Canon, we've asked for this

Armitage Hux? Really? What kind of name is that?

These names aren't very common. At least I met some of these names only on a few occasions. Kyle Katarn isn't purely Star Wars name either (Kyle is in Terminator for instance). It's just that some names sound better and closer to fantasy story, than others. Armitage doesn't sound that good like Wilhuf Tarkin. However Episode IV had a few characters very much with Earth-like names too, including the Imperials in the Death Star round room.
-
I know that. Luc Besson is a famous person, and his is also Luke in some ways I were saying, that some names sound better and closer to fantasy stories, than others. Luke is probably one of those, because John, Jack and Jake aren't the names that I hear here and there all the time, but I know, that they are widespread both in real life and literature. And for this reason and perhaps several more, they sound more Earth-like. Luke isn't very original, but it worked to become iconic i...
