I don't think Fire Phoenix is exaggerating. While tffa servers seem to still have decent activity, I mostly play duel mode only and there are hardly any players on a daily basis now with the master server down. I am appreciative for jkhub's existence and the effort put into it, but I think that without the master server we will see JKA multiplayer die out. I don't know what's going on, but it has been a long time now and I hope it does come back.

Mods? is there still the "assumption" that the servers won't be down forever? any contact from james monroe?

Well since he never answered, he never knew it was someone calling about the server in the first place. And I only called once per day.

Any update on this james monroe guy? I called ravensoft, got to the company directory, got his extension, called everyday this week but no answer. Is the master list down for good?

My apologies for coming off harsh, I just thought that no one cared. But I now see that the proper steps have been taken to resolve this issue, and I am pleased by that.

I'm already noticing less players and activity now than before the master server went down. There's hardly anyone to play with now. Saying to just wait around or "theres nothing we can do" is an unacceptable response. I called ravensofts madison wisconsin office, but couldn't get through to a live person. That list was up for over 10 years, so that means that some live person was responsible for maintaining it and is capable of fixing it. Who can we contact about this? are you all just content with JKA dying out like this? it may be an old game, but it's still funner and more intuitive than most of the new crappy games that come out nowadays. No master server = less players. Why isn't more being done to resolve this situation? I'm not pleased by this passive inaction.

It's still down, what are we doing about this? I don't want JKA to die it's one of the funnest games on the PC to me. We need to get that back up for the long term survival of the game.

When did they consider shutting it down? just curious. Alot of people still play so I don't know why they would consider doing that.
