    Need help figuring out how to combine two models and export the .skins properly so that they both work from the same model folder.

      I did rename the parts. My problem is that when I export them, those parts automatically rename back to default and it merges everything.

      You don't need to compile models from Blender - Blender JKA suite has GLM/GLA importer/exporter. For the skeleton, just import any JKA model.

      UV mapping you can find tons of videos on youtube, for the other part I'd start a thread in the modding assistance area. I don't use Blender.
