Maybe someone could make gifs or videos to show the animation of the chat icons. I don't know how to do proper gifs.
I agree that on a static picture, they don't seem as good as ingame, but the bb8 sand and the kyloren are particularly cute ingame.

In all seriousness, this is great work, CFJA! You should create a series of these animated, HD chat icon replacements. A joke may have sparked it, but you have a knack for it, and this creative idea has true potential. You could perhaps release them as a chat icon replacement pack, offering a choice out of say 10 different, unique designs for the chat icon.
I thank you :-) However, I am not very skilled. I just used paint.net, I cut the icon of Circa in several parts and I worked on the shader file.
I can edit existing pictures but I don't know create new ones.
If you have ideas or pictures for chat icons, I can try to apply the same system for you.

The shaking camera is a part of the original OJP 1.2. If you use a gun while your mishap is too high in third person view, your camera shakes. It represent the loss of balance. The players must be aware of their Mishap level and to bring back the first person view : when you use the first person view (with truegun 0) the shaking camera is not a problem. The goal is to advantage people who try to keep a low mishap in place of people who just rush and shoot everywhere.
When you play, you must choose between moves (third person view) and accuracy (first person view).
In some versions of OJP (I think OJPA), the shaking camera is broken and the camera shake even the mishap is low, or doesn't stop to shake after the mishap has decreased. Some versions of OJP have removed the shaking camera (OJRP) but I think it's a bad idea because players don't pay attention to their Mishap anymore.
I think the shaking camera must be kept, but the shaking factor must be lower.
Nice work, it's good to see people trying to keep OJP alive. We should work together and release a perfect final OJP version ^^

Edit : the problem of the dynamic sky is that each player will see a different moment of the time, depending when they joined the server.

Sorry, I am not an OJP dev. I just make some assets fix (coop and other things).
On our forum, we use BftR, a modified OJP with a Clone/Droids total conversion and other surprises.

the fact is : the original scripts change more things but they are my personnal configs for OJP.
So I deleted this and release only the walking switch part, without thinking that toggle suffice...
Original scripts are :

there is a problem which cause crashes with server ( @Angel Soul ) :
The "Program Files (x86)" folder is write-protected with windows 7 and 8.
JKA needs to modify files (jampconfig.cfg and others) in this folder (Program Files (x86)/LucasArt/Jedi Academy/Gamedata/...) so you need to run the game with administrator rights.
OpenJK adapts JKA to Windows 7and 8 OS and put modified files into "My Games/OpenJK/..." so you don't need to run the game with administrator autorisations.
However, with OpenJK, Zyk mod writes files into "Program Files (x86)/LucasArt/Jedi Academy/Gamedata/accounts" and "Program Files (x86)/LucasArt/Jedi Academy/Gamedata/configs".
It creates crashs when a logged player kills npc and the game try to update his XP in his account file : Windows forbids this and the server crashs.
The crash does not occur if the server run with administrator authorisation.

Sinon Alden, Bélial et moi on a relancé l'activité sur l'ex-nouveau forum. Ce n'est plus un clan, mais le but sera de se retrouver de temps en temps entre nous pour des parties coop. Le projet avance bien et la bêta sera bientôt dispo.
Bref Alden avait posté un truc à ce sujet sur french mandalorian academy.
En tout cas, ça n'as pas l'air d'être la fin des "enquêtes wampa dans la jungle sombre"
