    This is awesome.

Though, how exactly can I get the dark jedi version you made into Movie Battles II?

I'm aware of the process of replacing the model, just confused as to how I can get that particular version of this skin into the mod.

    Cheers!

Search the .skin files and figure out which one is the black one. Then use that as the default skin.

    plz add sp

make a new folder inside players, name it "stormtrooper", copy over everything excet the textures and rename the .skin files to model_blue.skin, model_red.skin, model_default.skin and model_officer.skin. It's super easy and quick. I'm using the Vest Stormie as the default one and Pauldron stormie as the officer.

windows explorer works perfectly fine too actually, zipping files and renaming the extension from .zip to .pk3. But I cannot work mods for JKA without pakscape, as it saves my last visited folders and I have it set up for the JKA base. It's just perfect to have it dedicated like that and it's got everything I need.

  1. Somehow, I'm baffled that these lightsabers didn't make it as a Featured Download. I thought it would be placed there and stay for a while. It's been a month and still nothing.

Eh I did not create them for that. It's still only 2 sabs with a small download count - under 5% of people that viewed this page actually downloaded the sabs. Allthough I did go for realism and the extra mile to make them really great out of personal respect to Ralph's concepts. This is what became the actual movie/comic sabers later on. It was totally worth it.

Really top-notch models, allthough as a Substance Painter user i still can't shake the "plastic" look i gather from the model's textures which quixel suite produces. I hope that i will one day see a model from you by using substance painter for texturing - imo by far superior to quixel.
#constructivecriticism 5 stars all the way for each and every one of your products nevertheless, not to be missunderstood. At such a level of talent it's really down to the details - so software you use and work with. Most people will not understand what i am talking about - but you certainly will Scerendo. Models can only be this good - it's textures where a product as good as this shines.

To add another suggestion, Substance Painter has a far superior baker as xNormal as well. Really, just try it out and be amazed. I never learned substance painter, my mods are purely self-taught routines. You seem to have been tought by others - put that knowledge to use with the currently best software availible. You'll become an even bigger god to the community than you already are + you'd reduce texturing to *only* substance painter and nothing else. In case you are interested, hit me up and i will set you up, either on discord or PM here on jkhub.org

  2. It's not a port it's a reskin of Darth Shiftee's Sith Stalker model from 2011.

i know i see now after downloading that the model is nowhere near the original TFU one. Still not too big of a fan, as it still seems like a port only simplified, textures included. I enjoy custom, hand-made hard work, not some easy-to-do-stuff-anyone-can-do. A couple of looks at the UV mapping should prove if it started out as the original model or not. Not that i care enough to actually check tho, but i might, as i know only a handful of people on JKHub doing from-scratch quality work.

Kinda decent job but it could be much better. 3 stars from me for motivation, possibly an update. :)

Do not open if you haven't seen EP8 yet!

RIP Snoke... Damn i rly didn't expect him being cut apart like he's some junk..Rian Johnson doesn't stand up to the SW world like he should but oh well, troubles and problems of the modern world, where anyone can do anything he wants... Rest in Pieces.

  3. I gave this a 5 star rating. It's got that special something, that "retro mods" feeling from the old days and there's clearly some effort in it, even though it's not overly detailed especially texture-wise. The models are simple as well but it delivers what you wished to deliver very nicely.
