  1. In Jedi Academy, it's possible to easily change the color of any text your write. You can do this by typing ^ + the desired color code, followed by whatever you want to write. It will immediately change into that color while typing it. Colors work like this: ^0This ^1Is ^2A ^3Very ^4Color^5ful ^6Text, ^7Mate Which will show ingame as: You can not only do this for your name, but also for chat messages. The following color values are available: ^0 = BLACK ^1 = RED ^2 = GREEN ^3 = YELLOW ^4 = BLUE ^5 = CYAN ^6 = MAGENTA ^7 = WHITE [OPENJK AND OTHER MODS ONLY] ^8 = ORANGE ^9 = GREY Black can be odd to work with however. You need an additional ^ for black in names as long as you don't run OpenJK or similar mod that changes that. For example: ^^0Kyle = ^Kyle The extra ^ is unavoidable in basejka. 8 and 9 are also available but do not provide any new colors in base JKA. It is recommended that you avoid using these two if you are on a pure vanilla or JA+ server. These have since been fixed in OpenJK. 8 is Orange and 9 is Grey.

  3. In base Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast and older mods: SHIFT + ~ In base OpenJK, EternalJK, and most modern mods based on OpenJK mods: ~ There is a large number of console commands in Jedi Academy. Entering these commands into normal chat will not work. To be able to make these commands work, you'll need to open the in-game console. You can open the console through the following steps: While holding the SHIFT key, press the 'tilde' key. This is the ~ key. It is located below ESC, above TAB and to the left of the number 1 on most keyboards. On some, it is not the tilde but the ¬` ¦ key. If you followed these steps correctly, the console will open. You can now enter any command you want, or close it again by pressing the tilde key a second time. You can scroll up and down with PAGE-UP and PAGE-DN keys. OpenJK allows mouse scrolling. Type the start of a command and then press TAB to either finish the command automatically or see a list of commands that start with those letters. Press the UP arrow to fill the last command. Press it multiple times to cycle through your previous commands. Type clear to clear the whole console. It's worth noting that OpenJK and mods based on it don't require the SHIFT key, you only have to press ~

  5. Forum just had a little update
  6. I do have some experience with the forum software you're using (phpbb). I can always take a look. What do you use as contact? e.g. skype, steam etc. I would love to be part of a web dev team. But the problem is that I'm not that experienced. I'm still in training. I manage a XenForo forum and I'm currently working on my first full fledged PHP website.
  7. What seems to be the problem? I see your website runs on Wordpress. I make my own things rather than rely on a CMS. But I'm always happy to help people out.
  8. Well, I was pretty enthusiastic about it when it was in development. But I can't find anything about it anymore.
  9. Hey everyone. I recently started playing JKA again. So why not saying hello to JKHub! So uhh... I'm Talon, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Belgium. I'm a gamer (ofc), I enjoy watching series (Doctor Who, Arrow, Breaking Bad, etc) and I love web development. So yeah... IM BACK!
  10. Something the matter? I'm a Dreamweaver fag. Blame my school.
  11. My name is Talon, the great, Senatu. I'm a gamer, musician, otaku PC technician, webdesigner and an inflatable Belgian. I've got here because I've been a member of both SR and Cosmos, and I found this project rather interesting. Even though I don't really play JKA that much anymore. Other from JKA, I play Minecraft and League of Legends. I also make Let's Plays on my Youtube channel that you can find on my website. Meh, I hate making introductions. Just ask me questions... :3
  12. I don't want to impress you but... I'm Batman.
