And yet another time, it's time for your final project!  In addition to the skills from all 100-level classes, you should be able to:

  • Create Dynamic Lights

  • Create switches/triggers for any entity

  • Utilize special effects (EFX)

  • Create appropriate ambient sounds

  • Create weather effects

  • Spawn NPCs from triggers

  • Gives routes to NPCs

  • Edit Worldspawn

For your class project, create a map that::

  • In terms of architecture, consists of the following:
    - Four rooms in a straight line connected by long hallways in any style of your choosing
    - Rain in one room (outdoor)
    - Snow in one room (outdoor)
    - Two indoor rooms
    - Eight separate fxFiles used throughout the map (2 per room)

  • In terms of lighting, consists of the following:
    - Trigger-able dynamic lighting in all indoor rooms
    - Skylight in all outdoor rooms

  • In terms of gameplay, consists of the following:
    - Appropriate ambient sounds throughout the map
    - NPCs spawning at key points in the map
    - NPCs following predetermined pathing
    - A final "boss" room with NPC_Desann

After completing your project, congratulations on a job well done!  You now have all the tools necessary to make a map especially interesting to look at and fun to play.
