Ah, it is time once again for a final project...   In addition to all the skills for 100-level classes, you should be able to:

  • Create a room with a domed ceiling

  • Create a corridor with an arched ceiling

  • Create a circular hole in the ceiling or floor of any given room

  • Create general purpose arches

  • Create general purpose spikes

  • Texture curves and caps properly

  • Have a good understanding of vertex editing with curves

For your class project, create a map that::

  • In terms of architecture, consists of the following:
    - Four rooms in a vertical square (left top room, right top room, left bottom room, right bottom room)
    - Top and bottom rooms connected by circular holes
    - Spikes eerily placed around doorframes
    - Corridors with arched ceilings connecting the two rooms indirectly (the corridor must change directions before reaching the next room)
    - Visually appealing textures

  • In terms of lighting, consists of the following:
    - One room that is sky-lit
    - One room that is radial light lit
    - One room that is spotlight lit
    - One room of your choosing

  • In terms of gameplay, consists of the following:
    - Varied NPCs placed throughout the map
    - One "boss" room with NPC_Tavion
    - Ample weapons, ammo, and items spread throughout

After having completed your project, congratulations on a job well done!  You now have all the tools necessary to make a visually appealing map with curves.
