Shaders on models and textures?

You edit/create or remove .shader files. Just don't touch the original ones in the game's .pk3. Instead create a new .pk3 with the same path and it should be used instead of originals.

well yeah, I figured that much, but how do I edit them exactly?

It may take a while to understand if you're new to modding, but just try to adapt existing shaders by adding layers that glow and stuff like that based on the stuff you learn in the shader manual.

I know you guys do, but I already know how to open shader files, that's why I'm asking for help - I open the file, but don't know what to change exactly (then again, I downloaded a "ghost morgan katarn" mod that's got a translucency shader. might try to change the texture path and see where that goes...
