Inyri
There's some goofy shading on the middle pic that might indicate some awkward topology. You might want to look at that and see if it needs clean up before mapping. Link to comment

Inyri
On the chest near the armpit. There's a bit of a crease where I imagine there shouldn't be. Link to comment

Inyri
My only suggestion on the UVs from my own experiences is you'll get the best and most consistent result with your textures if the check pattern is consistently the same size. I used to not pay much attention - just made sure they were all square - but my work has looked a lot better when they're all scaled consistently. Link to comment

Inyri
That works too. I forget people do that, lol. I've gotten used to using one image for most of the model. Then again I'm used to modeling weapons... Link to comment

MagSul
That's looking incredibly awesome so far, well done! Link to comment
Inyri
The skins a filter and/or photosourced? You'd definitely get a better look if you hand painted it. The texture pattern looks much too large and pronounced compared to some of the images I've seen and for the rest the pattern doesn't seem to match. Also add opacity to your render for more awesome on the feathered layers 8) Link to comment
AshuraDX
I didnt make alphas for the feathers yet , that's why they are like this about the texture pattern : it's photosourced from an elephants ass might replace it with a handpainted one , but i'm wokring at something else atm Link to comment
MagSul
...Am I the only one impressed by how well an elephant's ass looks on Urai Fen? No, that's pretty darn impressive. Link to comment
