This is why I took up my Malak reskin project; to improve my skills (will post more pics of it once I have done some more work on the jawpiece), and learn new things along the way.

to me aging faces is something totally different then editing clothes textures. especially if you dont know what your doing.

I do like the look of Jedi Dooku. A version of a younger Dooku is also most welcome. There've been pictures of him at Padawan age, but you can also check on Christopher Lee ictures at younger age. One of his (perhaps) most memorable appearance is that at 1974 James Bond movie - The Man with the Golden Gun.

Xuan did a model frank of Jedi Dooku 5 years ago, if anyone is interested. I have no idea if he is still part of the modding community or not. I have a copy of it saved on a disc.

as for team skins im thinking for blue doing jedi robes and for red sith robes.

Really nice work! I definitely prefer the robed versions. The un-robed variants seem to highlight the uncharacteristic flatness of the model's head. As for the aging, perhaps you could use GIMP or some other imaging program to isolate the gray hairs (color select) and darken it to a younger hue? Just an idea.

Could just use the burn tool and make the hair black. I think that's his canon hair color when he was young.

It's the Anakin model. You can tell by the head shape. Looks good though, makes him look younger. Would look even younger with no grey hair.

its a reskin of the spanki jedi skin pack. made the hair darker per request. which will have robes aswell.

The Spanki packs use the Anakin model, FYI.

 

The facial hair should match the head hair color.

Try the burn tool. That might make it slightly darker than you made the head hair though.

Well all you really need to do is darken the hairs. How I would do it is make a selection around the beard area, copy it onto a new layer above, colourise it a dark brown, and with a layer mask, get rid of the bits of skin around the beard. I would use a feather brush or something to clean up the edges.

I did and it made it look really bad.

i made a younger dooku face for something a few years ago feel free to use it or do whatever you want with the texture if you need the beard darker or something let me know i can likely do that in around 5 mins if you ask nicely lol.
