JKO in Unreal Engine Porting Discussion

Then let them shoot it down. Let them make that movie, until Disney steps in.

And they won't.

Sure, they can do what they want...none of us can physically stop them anyway...but that doesn't change facts:

Regardless of that it is being used for, the content is being ported, which is a violation of the EULAs on both the LA/Raven/Disney side, and the Epic Games side.

I suspect because, since porting the content (even though they aren't distributing it, they have openly admitted it is ported) is a violation of both companies EULA, it is thereby not technically a legal activity and JKHub doesn't really want to be associated within anything in a legal gray area.

But where is the map from? Doesn't look Jedi Outcast's Valley of the Jedi, unless heavily modified.

It is. The textures are just different and it uses different models. They retextured it in such a way that the map looks like t3_rift, which looks utterly ridiculous. Furthermore, they put Kyle in Jedi robes for that scene, which is utterly stupid since Kyle was very fearful of all things Jedi-related and in fact never considered himself a Jedi.

I'm kinda losing faith in this project very quickly since they aren't following the source material very well at all. Furthermore, the only "original" assets are just frankensteined models with no thought behind them.
