Hi dear community, i've been struggling with one of the most error gamers come across in Enchanted mod. I Already extracted JAEnchanted to GameData folder, but there is something wrong. While trying to launch ''ja_enhanced.x86'' which is supposed to run the mod, im getting ''Couldnt load default cfg'' response. Here is what writes in end of crashlog text ;

1943 files in pk3 files
Couldn't load default.cfg

i'll be waitng for your solutions dear community

That means it can't find the assets. Default.cfg is found in assets2.pk3. Make sure the base folder with the asset files is in the GameData folder as well. Folder structure should be like below. Blue are folders, red are files.

  • Jedi Academy
    • GameData
      • base
        • assets0.pk3
        • assets1.pk3
        • assets2.pk3
        • assets3.pk3
      • jaenhanced
        • zZz_jaenhanced.pk3
      • jaenhanced.x86.exe

Your screenshots show your folders aren’t set up the way I listed in my above post. You have 2 extra folders that aren’t needed, the jaenhanced folder goes directly in gamedata. Do not use the “Windows” or “Windows 32bit” folders.
