Jase Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Hi everyone. I played JKO and JKA a long time ago. I was a member of the guild Jedi of Light (creators of the Jedi's Home (JL) and Jedi's Home (JL) II maps, as well as the lesser-known Space Sanctuary). Quit playing the game around 2007 and now suddenly have the urge to play again. Going to reinstall it tomorrow. Am hoping the game still has a few good servers, and that people still play and use some custom maps and such. If so, which mod(s) should I get setup? I was more into JK+ and similar mods. I always recommend not installing JA+ simply for the sake of reducing bloat in your game, but it sounds like you’re going to be wanting to get the nostalgia feel, so go for. Otherwise just explore our files section for new mods and such. Link to comment

Raz0r Posted January 11, 2018 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Welcome to 2018. We use OpenJK and JA++ for sanity now and I totally definitely have nothing to do with either project. KR server is my go-to place, variety of players on daily. No custom maps, but have SP maps in rotation. Smoo likes this Link to comment
