How can I remove the black bars in cinematics? (I'm trying to add them into an .roq!)

^Topic title says it all.

 

I'm wondering if there's a simple way to remove the black letterbox bars in the Single Player cinematics, like a cvar or something.

 

I'm just trying to take a recording of the cutscenes without the bars being in there.

Try cg_draw2d 0. While it will get rid of everything 2d (icons, hud, etc) it should work for what you are looking for. I think that could do it.

 

Also - just curious, what method of making ROQs are you using? I have had a lot of troubles with them in the past.

I'm using the Quake Video Maker from swift tools. There's a tutorial by Inyri on the gamefront forums for making .roq files that you can find by google searching.

Is possible to remove the black bars without removing Hud, crosshairs and Subtitles? Anything?

JAEnhanced has them removed by default.
