Star Wars - STARKILLER "GALEN MAREK" OUTFIT PACK FOR JEDI ACADEMY

==========================================================================================

Behold the amazing character from the games "The Force Unleashed 1 and Force Unleashed 2" - Galen Marek, also known as

Starkiller or Vader's secret apprentice. I recreated some of his main outfits used in both games.

Most of all I am thankful for the help on this project to Ruxith.

SPECIAL CREDITS:

RUXITH - For scaling and weighting the Galen Marek's original head onto the Jedi_HM Model, so that it can be used for this pack.

XEBY & REVANKNIGHT: For using the "BETA" model of their "Dark_Apprentice" outfit from the Dark Side ending on TFU-2 and Adventure Robes.

HELLKOBRA (user unreachable): For using the belts, chest plate, robes and bandage of his Version 1 "starkiller" model.

DARTHPHAE: For using his Starkiller Clone TIE Flight Suit outfit to create the "Training Gear" outfit of Starkiller and for using his outfits (Armor, Arena, Clone)

DARTH SHIFTEE: For using his Sith Stalker body.

OTHER Credits: Star Wars The Force Unleashed 1/2, Jedi Academy, LucasArts, LucasFilm, JKA Jedi Human Male.

BUGS:

1. When playing with the default (TRAINING GEAR outfit), you will notice sometimes when your character moves/fights the chest plate is going deep into his body.

2. When using the RAXUS Outfit (the one with the scarf), dunno why, but the Left Arm datapad is floating in game. I tried different ways to put it on his arm but doesn't work inside the game as it looks in Blender. So keep that in mind!!!!

thank god, someone actually made a starkiller model pack for ja. Amazing work! I dont like one thing though, and this may sound stupid, but starkiller's hair seems not as dark as his hair actually looks in the actual tfu, also you should fix that chestplate bug :)

Not even a single screen shot with my beta StarKiller.... Booo! Make StarKiller's head a little big!  :P Good job with this pack.  :winkthumb:

The face is 100 percent accurate, but you should enlarge all those heads, because those look a little small, as Kulan said in the forum.

All the skins are working except the training gear. Makes the game crash once an opponent hits me.

How come?! @Seven I tested this gear on two different PCs and it was working all good on normal stances/walks/jumps and in fight mode with other chars. Are you sure you don't have too much .pk3 files inside your base? I ran into that error just once and after i removed all unused pk3 files from mine it worked without any other crashes.

I'll test it when I get to my laptop tonight, but I also noticed it wouldn't open with modview. All the other costumes are working fine though.

The arm on the training outfit seems a little large and off-color from the rest of the skin, but the face has a fantastic likeness to Sam. Awesome work.

EDIT: Now that I look at it again, the head's skin tone actually doesn't match up with the skin tone shown in the rest of the outfits. But again, it doesn't detract too much from the overall thing. Just something to look into should you ever do a V2. :)

If i ever manage to get some free air and spend it to improve some models and packs as Ver.2 i will ;) Other than that everyone else who wants to modify/change/re-texture the models is free to do it, as long credit is provided to me and the rest authors mentioned in my credits list.

I can make a pack with skin edits for tone and stuff like that and I can add animations from other Galen's floating around. Plus add sound and npc file improvement etc.

Also, the training gear is showing in modview, and runs correctly in JA Enhanced, so thats good.

some of the models have invisible or white textures for me! :(

Try it in JA Enhanced. For some reason it works a lot better in general.

That happens when you have too much PK3 files inside your BASE folder, all the models have included .SHADER files, that were all tested and are working perfect on a CLEAN JKA, without any other mods installed such as "JKA Enchase or anything like that", If it needed something of those kind i would mention it in the read me//description file :)

Why does it not say anywhere that this is a ported head ripped from TFU? You shoul probably mention that.

I assume, that you have missed to read this part, so i will quote it for you:

found a two problems i found when trying out this mod: for dark apprentice model, when selecting the hood, it'll just show the hooded head texture and no hood appears and when playing with him in the singleplayer, he has the female dialogue for some reason

I like the Tie Fighter Pilot suit but there is something weird. It is supposed to be a "jumpsuit", yet the bottom of the torso does not match the legs making it look like a jacket instead of a jumpsuit.
