Fantastic man ! I used to create cyan and white sabers editing a .sab file and adding a second blame in a single lightsaber, but what you've done is a great work !

There is ONE flaw with this: You CANNOT switch saber styles with this method.

There is no problem with that, use the command  saberAttackCycle 0   it will change the style for you. I use it all the time I binded it to letter Z.

I did not know that! :D

Saberattackcycle 0 doesn't work. All it does is switch off one of the blades. :(

I don't know, it works fine for me it switches between fast strong etc and even changes the stance. I think you may have a conflicting pk3 somewhere in your base folder perhaps.. for me it works in singleplayer on normal JKA I am not using OpenJK or JA+ or anything just regular game. And it only changes for me when I have my saber activated.

Strange....

I figured it out! It's not the sabers it is the playermodel you are using!! Lets say for example you are using the default Luke NPC, if you use saberAttackCycle 0   nothing will happen. What you have to do for this to work is make sure that the NPC file of the character you use has this (exactly in order) :

The more saber Styles the NPC character has, then the more styles the saberAttackCycle 0   command will cycle through!  Issue resolved. :)

I like the concept, but it has the problem of changing the hilt, at least with me, is there a way to make it where it only changes the blade?

This mod by default uses the black story mode hilt for every color. If you wish to add the color you want to a different hilt, you must go into the .sab file and find the saber number color you wish to use. Then you simply change the hilt model name to the hilt you want (to find the name you can go to the .sab file of the hilt you want).

Here is an example:

I want "saber_1000" blue color as Darth Mauls Staff. I go into the .sab file of Darth Mauls saber, and copy the hilt model name, for example "dmsab1". I then edit the .sab file of this 28 Colors mod, and find "saber_1000" and paste the model name "dmsab1" and save it. Now when I use "saber_1000" in-game, it will be a blue Darth Maul staff saber.

It doesn't work for me... :( why? should i put a "/" before the saber saber_1000? or anything?

I don't know why it would not work for you. It should work just fine in Single Player.

Ok, so I was to use the popular Kylo Ren saber, how would i go about opening its .sab file to chop things up? Id love to apply some of these color changes.

Impressive, missing just the grey and black color!

You also cutted off the damagescale, because adding so much blade make a saber insanely strong. nice job! And without code hacking! Nicex2 😄
