    Perilous Free-for-All battles or duels in the cavernous power core of the Merr Sonn Corporation's space station.
     
     
    This map is unusually small for FFA matches, and is best played with 2-4 players. Bot support is provided, but they would do well to develop a fear of heights.
     
    For dueling purposes, those wanting a larger dueling area should activate the force field to create a larger arena. For quick escapes or rapid transit, explore the boost pads and airjet tubes. Also, beware the energy beam projector and power conduits!

  2. Devolution

    Close quarters lightsaber combat between a secret lab in the past and the present. I intended this map to have a narrative sense to it, as if it were a location where a gripping story was taking place. Hopefully players will see it the same way and enjoy being being immersed in the awful events at the laboratory.
     
    This map is a a polygon complicated work that was really meant as a showcase for the 2005 Map-Review JA Geometry Challenge. If you are dissatisfied with the texture choices, pleae remember I did my best to pretty up this map within the 10 texture limit of the challenge. Be warned, slower machines will have a hard time running this map at a decent framerate!
     
    The map is a tight space in which to duel- good luck! For a quick escape, explore the ominous glowing portal contraption. Bot support is provided.

  5. SJ16's Skate Park

    This level is a tribute to all the great duelists out there that I have met in battle.It takes place on an eternally inverting skate park carved out of a cargo cruiser. Plenty of lighting effects and graphics,and lots of new textures, so make sure Pure Server under advanced is set to "no" when playing. Bot support is included. Look around - If you've ever seen me online, you might see your name or picture somewhere in this level - over 200 people are somewhere in the park.

    This map was made for my 12 year old brother and, surprisingly, it turned out as good eye candy. Nice big pad at the top, lava at the bottom, curvy ramps, and good, dark lighting. Looks like a little mine or temple with a shuttle up top and a few imperial lights. Very cool for powerduel, good for full force as well as no force duels. Cool laser things shooting an even cooler rotating cube under the main pad. Looks good.

  7. SNJ Hotel Hangar Duel

    This is the first part of an enourmous and beautiful map called SNJ Hotel! This duel serves as a sample of whats to come very soon. It is a rainy hanger with working rain splashes, transparent water and lighting. More cinematic than mechanics, this map serves as a convenient and moody place to duke it out or just enjoy the storm. Look for the whole hotel in a few weeks.

  10. Race For Death

    A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
     
    You and your friend have applied for an apprenticeship at the local Sith academy. As the Sith will accept only one of you, they have prepared a nice little contest to decide who is more suitable. You will both have to run through an obstacle course, whoever makes it first will get the job, the other one will be rejected the Sith way. Along the way, you will have several opportunities to attack your opponent, but you won't be able to get on his side of the obstacle course. May the force be with you!
     
    This map has a rather unique concept, but i think it's interesting. It was originally intended as a "duel" map, but I decided to include a Team FFA mode. In Team FFA, each team spawns on one "side" of the map, however it is possible to get to the other side at certain points. I recommend not to use force speed on this map, as you will usually need the force points to get past various obstacles - plus I think its just more fun without force speed anyway.

  11. Versatility

    This map has been built for and won the 20 Brush Mapping contest on map-craft.com
     
    As it only consists of 20 Brushes, it is rather small and therefore mainly suited for Duels, Power Duels and small FFAs (gets crowded easily but is a lot of fun!)
     
    The main concept is having the few brushes rearrange to form in total 4 different shapes. This happens randomly every 20 seconds.
     
    Thanks to Map-craft.com for having a still active mapping community, and to Mr Wonko for organising the contest and therefor making me make this map

  14. Imperial Starship Bridge

    I designed this map as a small, contained, but highly detailed depiction of the bridge of an unpsecified Imperial starship. The layout of the map is very simple but it should be an enjoyable duel map. Look for little details like coffee mugs at some of the work stations and several forced-perspective starships beyond the viewports. I may expand the map in the future to include other portions of the ship.

    Heres a duel map based of taris.
    its buidlt from the mixture of ingame screenshots and some concept art images.
    it has two reachble platforms and some reasonable duel space.
    Theres also 3 speeders, 1 flying above map, 1 landing and taking of main platform a
    nd the last one is hovering beetween two platforms.
    i did the layout with my own original touch seeing as i never played kotor before.
    there's some elevators on some of the buildings..ride them if you wish O_o

    If you may already recognized is Duel Carbon JA a re-creation of JKII's duel_carbon, which i loved to play and so i decided to do rebuild that map and make it even a little bit better than the original.
     
    So all credits go to Raven Software, who developed this map.
     
    To achieve this I first rebuild it just from seeing old duel_carbon and not copying any material out of the .map. After that I made the lightning which was terrible in the original the map also supports the glow effect. Next thing was the interactivity and u know in Arevass there wasn't much of this so I decided to put something in here:
     
    1st there is the carbon grapper that can be lift up
    2nd u can switch some of the lights on/off
    and 3rd you can blow up many things.
     
    I know thats not too much but maybe it makes fun and gives the map more realism.
     
    OK that should be enough
     
    put the .pk3 file into your 'JediKnight:JediAcademy/GameData/base' folder

    map in .bsp AND .map format

  25. The Rotation

    This is a duel map set on a rotating wireframe cube, floating above a mountainous landscape. As the cube rotates, you will have to adjust your position to stay on it. If you fall, you die. However, there is a way around this. It shouldn't take you too long to figure out how to stop the cubes rotation, if only temporarily.
     
    Note
    Now then, this isn't a bug as such, but this map won't work properly unless the duel limit is set to 1. Yes, this means only two people to a series of duels, sorry! If two duels take place in a row, the players in the second duel will miss the cube altogether and plummet to their gruesome deaths... I may fix this later on.
