Explosive Christmas

This map is basically made of a few hills with rocket launchers, jetpacks and lots of explosives. It also features an ice slide, presents that explode every now and then, and a super-surprise-christmas tree.
It's a rather silly christmas-themed map I made a few years ago. I just found it on my old hard drive and thought I'd publish it, maybe it's gonna be fun for some people!

Far Cry of the Jedi

THIS MAP SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FUN - I DIDNT SPEND A LONG TIME ON IT AND I KNOW ITS SIMPLISTIC.
This map should not be compared in anyway to the game FarCry - that game is awsome and the game engine is amazing and I couldnt map anything close to it if i treid my hardest, JKA could never handle an outside location as vast as those seen in FarCry - however I enjoyed playing the game so much I was inspired to "base" a JKA map on it.
This map is an early version and therfore has some bugs, its got FPS issues and some people with lower spec systems may struggle to play it. I do plan to inlcude a lot more detail including some bases and other buildings but, I though that some may have fun with the map as it is.
You should have the "seige destroyer map" instaled as the spawning of the Z95 spacecraft uses the script from that map, but by the amount of downloads that map had I would imagine that most of you have it.
In the Zip file you will find a new Skin made by *VAS* Buffy, She has made a very cool VAL CONSTATINE from farcry especialy for this map, so thanks to Buffy for that one!!

This is loosely based on the academy version 3 by Virtue. Has dueling areas and some climbing areas. Updates are as follows.
This map works for both jk3 and jk2. I'm releasing it for jk3, but if you put this version in jk2 it is 100% compatible. Hopefully jkhub can put under both games.

Tatooine themed FFA map which was first designed for the fast-paced FF (fullforce) playing, but for now it is playable for everything. (except Siege or CTF of course lol) Also .map Source Files included inside of the .pk3/maps folder, so people may modify/copy, as long you give me credits.
Known bugs: Nothing major, only 2-3 brushes are "half-invisible", doesn't affect for playing or hurt your eyes.
It can be fixed easily with a new compile but too lazy to do it. Overall the map is fresh and clean with good FPS.
If you find any other bugs/errors that I don't know, let me know so I can fix it (and perhaps version 2 will be better)

FFA Davik's Estate

This is Davik's Estate as seen in the game Knights of the Old Republic. Even though your stay at this location is brief in KotOR I wanted to create this map for Jedi Academy as it is the first location that introduces the Ebon Hawk to the player. I originally started working on this map in 2006 and took a very long break from mapping and eventually ended up moving and starting college. Looking back through my old files I discovered this map again and I wanted to finally take the time to finish it up this year and release it to the community. I hope you all enjoy playing it, I learned a lot during the creation of this map. Unfortunately there are no bot-routes, I wanted to include them but could not get them working properly due to the area portals and doorways. I have included the .map files for both the Estate and Ebon Hawk in the event that someone wants to take a look at them and use them for their own learning. Please note that Sith-J-Cull gave me permission to use his textures for the Ebon Hawk and that you should ask him first if you plan to use them or change them to your own textures first on the prefab I've created before using it within your own project.

This is Tribute to the one of my favuorite Death match maps of all time - DM Hyperblast from Unreal Tournament 1999
The only thing i didnt made on my own.. is the concept of the map and the music.. All rights for Epic Games for that and big thanks for doing all of this.

Names of the maps:
The mp version: Devmap Hyp_mp
The sp version (It is like original one. Inside the ship there is normal gravity but outside it is lower so You can fight and play with everything ) : Devmap Hyperblast
I played with the bots to check the map. I made a bot that You can delete if You want (to do that remove botfiles from the pk3).
He is called : weapon stormtrooper. He is picking weapons and use them more often than the others (slightly but still).
I recommend changing the options on your map like this:
-g_speed 320 - all players will be faster
-broadsword 1 - Jk3 ragdoll physics
-g_knockback 3200 - Knockback in multiplayer is rly low in my opinion.. Making it higher is better to getting Your enemies off the edges of the ship
-g_gravity - This option just simply change the gravity.. If You know the original map You know that gravity in this level was diffrent depends if You were inside or outside of the ship. Sadly i couldnt do it for MP version.. But You can sill change the gravity to play around

One of the scariest maps ever released, FFA Nowhere is an abandoned asylum! And not a nice sort of asylum, either. One with rows of cells and locked iron doors, padded cells and operating theatres, and security bars everywhere! People have died here. There's even a graveyard full of them. But are all those who died here in the graveyard? I'm not so sure of that! You visit on a rainy, misty night, and there's just enough power to work the lights in some sections. Wind rushes through the corridors... was that someone moaning? Why are there chains hanging from the ceiling? Is someone there...? Help! You'll be glad you took your lightsaber with you as you explore this creepy place. Better hope you don't dream about it!

Installation : Simply extract the ffa_nowhere.pk3 file into your JA/GAMEDATA/BASE folder or click and drag it to the folder specified.
Map info : As said above this is my first map ever, I came up with the idea during playing a game of Jedi Outcast with a few people online and felt that most of the custom maps for the game were all going by the same types of themes so I decided to create something a little new. I created the idea of a creepy or Silent Hill themed map so to speak that night and made the blueprints the next day. But since being my lazy self I never actually made it until JA came out so the idea aswell as the blueprints stuck in my mind for a year or so. It took me less than a week to read up on some great Radiant tutorials and in the same week I started up on FFA_nowhere, so this map was also my tool to learning how to do this and that. And although this map is not perfect considering I had limited resources "texture wise" and other things, it has become bigger and better than my original idea for the map.

What a 'nice' idea for a map and with the sound effects too, nicely done!
When I first got in the haunting noises were superb, the room was plain but the fact it sounded like a true horror game seriously added to the atmosphere; thank god I have control of my bladder! The next room I went to was an outdoor area, a half destroyed room where it was raining and it felt good; by that I mean it felt like it should, run down house broke apart by age and weather.
The main bulk of the house is corridors (those are quite large corridors btw) which are very dark and damp with the occasional flickering light (nice touch). The bordered up windows and doors along with the various broken object and sharp corners really do give it that horror feel which helps you forget about the fact that in decor this house is somewhat lacking.
There was one place that really was cool, I won't go into it fully but put it this way...just because it seems like it's a corridor that you can walk down does not mean you can walk down it....falling however is a much faster method. Oh and if you're scared of small spaces avoid this place! Solidary confinement is not a nice place.
I suppose I should now point out it is infact more of an asylum and if walking past those torn down doors on cells don't freak you out...you're on a par with George Bush for reaction and intelligence!
One think that puts me off this map is the fact teleporters move you from place to place through doorways which I don't think there was need for.

Description: *Chinese New Year Contest 2018 Entry*
This is an FFA map modeled after various examples of Chinese/Asian architecture. The layout is heavily inspired by the temple in Dragon Valley from Battlefield 4. There are guns, ammo, and health pickups set up around the map for actual weapons FFAs. I've also added a duel area you can reach by pressing use on the middle obelisk next to the upper building. There are no secrets on this map, and the FPS can drop quite a bit, depending on your computer and game settings.
I'd like to give a huge thanks to Bucky for compiling the map, taking screenshots that weren't from a potato resolution, and providing words of encouragement for the past month. Without him, this map would probably have taken 8 days to compile on my computer (if I even got that far!). Also, thanks to Wolf for testing the map in its early stages.
Bugs and other things (full list in readme):
-Because the map is essentially a large, open box, FPS isn't great. Dynamic glow will tank it. So even though things look really cool with glow turned on, I wouldn't recommend playing with it.
-The lighting is a little bit... weird. I made the lights too bright and it shows.
-There is actually botrouting on this map, but it wasn't really tested.
-I only tested the map in MP, so if someone really wants it in SP and it doesn't work, let me know.

FFA3_Xmas

This is simply FFA3 recompiled with a Christmas/winter theme. Most of the clip brushes have been removed, so you can stand on ledges and things you previously couldn't reach. I've borrowed the original botrouting, which seems to work just as well as it does on base FFA3 (...it's not great).
Bugs and other things:
-Some of the textures aren't aligned like they are in the original FFA3.
-There are a few cracks around the fireplace in the cantina.
-The string light textures should be enjoyed from a distance. They look pretty rough up close. Unfortunately, if you move too far away, they'll disappear!
-Map file is included; however, the .ase and .md3 models are not.

First Jedi Temple

I'm not an expert in creating maps. But I made an effort to make something that would amuse the players. The map tries to be something like to the First Jedi Temple of Ahch To. I have placed weapons, ammo and health recovery items so that the player can have fun freely. In other maps I tend to do something more RPG-oriented, but this one I tried to avoid that. Unfortunately, no one made perfect maps related to the new Star Wars movies and/or series. That's why I built this map, because of that desire. Thank you all! Have fun.

This is a complete rebuild of my first map for Jedi Academy, "Force Council Headquarters" (FCHQ). The layout and theme of the map is much the same as the origional, however this version includes many more features than the last. Here is a brief list of the new features:
- completely reworked architecture
- security camera room (secret entrance)
- ambient sound
- enhanced balance arenas
- vis compile (unlike the last version, one room loads at a time, saving your FPS)
- sounds can no longer be heard through walls (vis compile)
- doors with soundsets (the previous version had silent doors)
- redesigned airport/council room
- 32 player slots
- bot routing
- mini TIE-Fighters/Bombers (released by Keshire)
- the mini TIEs have been tweaked so that they cannot kill other players, only other mini TIEs.
- their mass has been reduced to 0, so that they cannot bludgeon other players, and do not take impact damage (walls).
- please note that these mini TIEs are CUSTOM VEHICLES. If you get the ".veh extensions too large" error, your vehicle cap limit has been reached. This means you have too many custom vehicles in your base folder. You can fix this by deleting custom vehicles, or maps containing custom vehicles (DoA Flight Arena, Kotor Flight School, ect.) Since there are only 2 custom vehicles in this map, you need only delete 2 of your existing custom vehicles (or one map containing custom vehicles), if your vehicle cap limit has been reached.

Free Saber Alliance Council

This is my first publically released map. It was made for my clan, the Free Saber Alliance, however I tried to keep clan references to a minimum. This map could serve many purposes, there is a flying area with mini tie-fighters and mini tie-bombers that are included as a separate pk3 file in the zip file. There are dueling areas and spaces for FFA and TFFA, as well as a training area with triggers for various NPCs.
